I might write a piece (someday) abou the great decline of story telling and experience in gaming over the decades. There's still burning, bright paragons out there, but they seem to become increasingly rare.
Just as many books I've read seem to have a whole bunch of meaningless ambling about without actually building the world, the character, or advancing the plot.
Imagine a book like that, but in video game format, and that's a lot of games today.
That's a shame. I always thought that gaming might still have good stories but I guess it's just pump em out to sell?
