Greetings to all Splinterlands players and Midnight Letters community! I have been playing in the Frontier Format for a while. I like this format because there are only few cards unlike in other formats where I don't have the strong cards. I have a good card collection that can fight against top opponents. Most of the cards were acquired from rewards and I also bought archons and important cards. In this way, my card collection can compete against top teams.
Archons
Most of my archons are level 2 except for Water which is level 3.
I bought cards to upgrade Water and Earth and I'll buy more if I can sell some cards. Water and Earth are my most used element so I prioritize upgrading these.
Legendary Cards
I don't have all the legendary cards but I think I have the important ones. The card I mostly use are Great Bear Druid and Mystic Scaleweaver.
I bought cards to level up Great Bear Druid to maximum while I already have two BCX of Mystic Scaleweaver. I would like to buy one more to upgrade her but I'm short of DEC. I'm trying to sell some cards to add to my DEC balance. The other legendary cards are nice to have but I don't use them that much to be honest.
Epic Cards
I own all the epic cards and upgraded three of them. Most of these were obtained from reward chests except for Asel Alagosdil who I bought. This card has upgraded my overall game and increased my win rate. It was worth that I bought her and didn't wait to get her from chests. The most used epic cards are the two Water cards, two Death cards, the Neutral card, Ash Archer of Fire and Kicking Roc of Earth. The other cards are used when needed.
Rare Cards
All of my rare cards are upgraded to level two. More than half of these cards are not used often.
Water Logged Wizard, Vengeful Monk and Spellmonger are the most used cards. Sherriham Logger is guaranteed to be used whenever I choose Life element. Others are used depending on the situation while Savage Butcher has not been used ever. It's my most useless card.
Common Cards
The common cards are mostly used. They are at level three except for Mad Gearhead who I like to stay at level two because he decreases his life by one at level three. I plan to level up the Water cards to four since my Water archon is at level three. Most of these cards are used in the game.
Fire - All fire cards are used.
Death - Nim Guard Captain and Black Widow are used while Spinetail Fiend is seldom used.
Water - Mostly Port Guardian and the others are used from time to time.
Earth - All are mostly used except for Dire Bear. It competes with Dread Tafarian for the tank position.
Life - All cards are used except for Codex Sage.
Neutral - All neutral cards are used.
Conclusion
Those make up my Foundation set cards. There are still a lot of work to be done to upgrade the cards I like. I don't own all the legendary cards but I think the ones I'm missing are not that important. Like I don't use A'lan Musketeer and Agnavian Salamander often in my games. I already play against in the highest league and winning my games so I think my Water and Earth are enough. I also play in Guild Brawls so I plan to upgrade my Earth and Water cards further. I don't use the other elements that much so I'll wait to get them from chests. I'll buy Earth and Water when I have the DEC.
