Greetings to all Splinterlands players and Midnight Letters community! My Splinterlands games are heating up. I'm juggling between playing online chess, modern and frontier formats in Splinterlands. I earned many reward cards in the frontier while earning SPS and glint in modern. For today's Social Media Challenge, I will show my games in the frontier.
My Best Cards
I only have Little Sister and Great Bear. I wish to get the other legendary cards from the chests but I have not gotten any yet. I have two gold foils and epic cards that I earned from the reward chests.
My best element is Earth. I have two gold tanks and an epic Glimmermancer. Saltwater Mage is my best Water element card. There are many more cards I would like to get and it keeps me wanting to play. Plus, I also want to upgrade my archons.
My Games in the Frontier
Dire Bear and Dread Tafarian are both tanks with high life stats. They are the first units in the missions. I put them both in high mana games. The following game is a fight between high life stat, the Earth element against the high attack stat of Water element. Both elements have their own advantages and disadvantages. We have to play which one has the best winning chances in the ruleset. The game bans epic and legendary cards. This works well for me because I don't have other legendary cards, only Little Sister and Great Bear Druid. The game has a limit of of 59 mana. In games like this, I like the Earth team and use the Dire Bear and Dread Tafarian together. My plan in this game was to have many units with high life stats. I don't remember why I put Grand Consul Minion. I must have misclicked or there were no more units because the cards are limited to common and rare.
Play by play
Round 1 - Dire Bear got taken out, Mad Gearhead takes the first position against Port Guardian. It was a bad start for my team.
Round 2 - Mad Gearhead got taken out early in the round. My team rallied and killed New Beluroc Aegis. My team can now focus in the front without the opposing team's unit with Taunt skill.
Round 3 - Dread Tafarian healing skill helped. The opponent's Port Guardian finally got killed. It's four versus four going to the fourth round.
Round 4 - Dread Tafarian was annihilated but taking his place was Time Bandit who had eight life stats. The opposing team's health is lower and here I have the upper hand.
Round 5 - Three versus three and my team had the upper hand in life stats. We both have one magic and two archer units left. The opponent had the higher attack stats but I had the higher life. We both lost one unit in this round. It's two on two going to the sixth.
Round 6 - I had two archers left while he had a magic unit in front and archer in the back both had two attacks. I had Wilhemdale Deputy in front but she can't attack from there because she is an archer. She has five life stats which helped her survive. Grand Consul Minion killed the opponent's wizard and I had a won game in Round 6. It took twelve rounds to win because of my low attack stats.

Not only in games with high mana, Earth element is also good in games with low mana. The healing of Dread Tafarian helped again in this game. The opponent Sherringham Logger was a problem but lucky I had Spellmonger in the team and stopped him in his tracks.
