Greetings to all Splinterlands players and Midnight Letters community! This is my entry to this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. I joined a new guild and able to brawl again. The following post is about my new guild and my brawl report.
Joined A New Guild
My guild has stopped playing in brawls for several months. There are no signs of activating brawls again so I began looking for another guild who is active in brawls. I checked the Splinterlands discord and there was one that was looking for a player to fill the Fray 1 slot (Foundation set only). I have the complete cards of all Foundation set and almost all of my archons are level 2. Most of the cards were earned from rewards but I also bought hard to find cards. I also have Gladiator cards that can help in brawls. I immediately messaged the leader and was accepted into the guild. My new guild is Pizza A Slice of Madness.
I just finished my first brawl with my new guild and here are the results.
Results and Brawls
Before I started the brawl, I bought and upgraded my Earth archon to level 2. Levelling up my archon will give me the advantage against other players who only have lower level cards. Earth is my strongest element in brawl having Quora Towershead in my card collection. My other gladiator cards are not as strong.
I was satisfied with contributing to our cause and earning merits and SPS. I would like to buy gladiator packs but I cannot buy yet due to being new in the guild.
Brawl 1
Brawl 1 has Noxious Fumes and Explosive Weaponry. It's a good thing that I upgraded my Earth archon because I depended on this element in most of my brawls. In this one, Earth is necessary because it has a counter against Noxious Fumes with the unit Time Bandit. Earth is the element with highest longevity that is needed in this brawl.
The enemy prevented the use of Quora so my gladiator card was Katrelba. Dread Tafarian has healing but is not as good as Quora. My opponent chose Water. I also have the same Water cards but I thought Earth was best in this brawl. My opponent attacked first because my units were slowed by his Mystic Scaleweaver. My units were killed first but my Tafarian's healing and poison damage made my team recover and got the win.

Brawl 2
Brawl 2 gave me the opportunity to use Quora. Her healing power is overpowered along with dual attack. It puts her head and shoulders above the rest the units. She was later killed but it was too late for my opponent to recover. I already built a big lead.

Brawl 3
The next brawl is Quora vs Quora. My opponent also chose an Earth element and has Quora. We have similar teams but I have the higher level archon. I think this gave me the edge in the brawl. I also have Mad Gearhead who has 2 melee attack vs my opponent who chose Lunaki Howler who has only one magic attack. His Quora died first leading to him losing the brawl.

Brawl 4
This is another Earth vs Earth brawl with Noxious Fumes. My opponent had the higher level archon but he is lacking Quora in the team. Instead he used another gladiator card. His team has a legendary card (Giam Root) that I don't have. Inspite of having the lower archon and missing a legendary card, my Quora still gave me a big advantage in this brawl. Her healing power is a big help against poison damage that made my team win the brawl.

Brawl 5
I cannot use Quora in this brawl so I chose Fire element. I was the one who was at a disadvantage in this brawl and got crushed in a few moves.

Grateful for My New Guild
It's great to be brawling again in an active guild. Pizza A Slice of Madness is a great guild with high level buildings and active members. I'm lucky to have been accepted so I'm grateful to them. Excited to join the next brawl and getting new gladiators.
