This actually looks sick! It is definitely not my type by any means but the potential on it is pretty large. I mean, the possibility of hardcore smash players moving over and playing this as well is possible I think, and they are some die-hard fans. If this is done right, I can see it being a super fun game for adults alone but also to play with their children and have a game for both to get good at and not be one sided. Great post about this, I had no clue.
Oh and with the GaaS, I'm sure it will include some sort of battle pass feature, those things are everywhere and get even the hardest to get people to buy.
Yea I can't say this doesn't look cool. It is a shame that Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl had so little money put into it. The fact that they didn't even include voice acting was pretty sad. The gameplay didn't look that exciting either. I didn't even waste money on that one, although at first I was tempted.
Multiversus looks so much better. It even rivals Smash in some ways. It will take a lot to dethrone the long-time platform brawler, but at least this one stands a chance to gain some of the spotlights.
The cool thing about having to pay for all of the cool alternate costumes is that even though I refuse to do it, I still get to see other people's characters who are willing to shell out that dough.
