8 Tempest Graves Carry! TFT Set 7.5 Revival

in Hive Gaming3 hours ago

I would like to thank everyone who showed interest in my previous two posts. It seems the ear drops are working, and my ear is feeling better now. The pressure is completely gone, and I have no issues left except for a slight hearing loss. I hope that will also disappear soon, and I can return to my routine. I feel well enough today to share an enjoyable TFT video with you.

You can watch the gameplay video here:

As you can see on the screen, this game's universe features a treasure dragon. In Set 7.5 games, there's already a treasure dragon at the end of stage 4. In this universe, there will also be a treasure dragon at the end of stage 3.

I like making vertical compositions in this mode. That's why I chose Hard Commit. This augment lets you randomly win an emblem and then, at the start of each stage, win a champion with that emblem's trait. The champion's cost matches that stage and can be up to 5. Luckily for me, I got the Tempest emblem here. It's a composition worth playing!

I can't say the early game went well for me. The Tempest composition has three carries, and the lowest-level one is Lee Sin, a 3-gold champion. So I'll keep suffering until I find him.

Another Tempest emblem? No one would say no to that. It could be a legendary game. It just won't be easy to build my composition; let's hope I can pull it off.

Ahh, I was so close to finishing the entire mid-game with a winning streak, but I lost to this ridiculous Kled composition. I don't know why it's so strong. It feels like even a 1-star champion deals too much damage. But it doesn't deal the same damage when I play it!

I'll put Lee Sin in the middle of the board, and since he'll be my carry, Find Your Center seems like a good idea. So I'll take this treasure dragon loot.

Actually, I need a good combat augment as my final augment because none of the augments I chose are combat augments, but I couldn't find a good combat augment, and as I mentioned earlier, since Lee Sin will be one of my carries, the Dragonmancer emblem doesn't sound too bad.

Luck was on my side, and I managed to find a level 7 Ao Shin. Now, if I can find one more Tempest emblem, I can unlock the 10 Tempest trait, which is basically an automatic win, but I also need to be level 9. Of course, if I'm not miscalculating, because Ao Shin takes up 2 slots and contributes 3 points to the Tempest trait.

I replayed this loot dragon multiple times hoping to get a Spatula because if I couldn't activate 10 Tempest, having two emblems was pointless. Unfortunately, I never saw that option here. Instead, there were only radiant items.

Now it's time for revenge! I defeated and eliminated a 3-star Kled who was truly powerful. That felt amazing! I think I haven't lost since Lee Sin and Graves were 2-stars. I can even defeat very powerful compositions because 8 Tempest grants a 90% damage increase to Tempest champions. Yes, you heard that right!

A Graves with Radiant Thief's Gloves can be extremely dangerous. He doesn't need the best items. With just a few good items, he becomes a devastating force!

Now all the Tempest carriers are 2-star, and they all deal good damage. To be honest, Ao Shin has one of the worst designs among the dragons. He's very fragile and needs too many things to use his ability. A Spear of Shojin is a must, but that's not enough—you also need an Edge of Night to protect yourself when jumping on enemies. And if you want sufficient damage, you need a Jeweled Gauntlet. In short, it's like a solar eclipse—a lot of planets need to align lol.

I managed to defeat my opponent, who was the top player in the game, even though it was tough, and I was trying to get Graves to 3 stars. He, on the other hand, was after something even stronger.

Both of us managed to get our desired champions to 3 stars, and I won the first fight. This was surprising because, after all, he got a dragon to 3 stars. That's much harder than what I did. Of course, I'm happy I won.

But unfortunately, not every fight was as easy for me. He pushed all his champions to the back and defeated me. Now I have only one chance left. If I lose again, I'll be eliminated.

I think I lost this game because of my tactical mistakes. I had an Edge of Night, and I should have given it to Graves. Instead, I gave it to my mighty dragon(!) Ao Shin, and since he could only cast one ultimate, I lost the fight. Graves fought honorably! He shines like a star at the top of the damage chart.

Thanks for reading. The new set is just around the corner. I still have some fun Set 7.5 compositions I want to share with you. Get ready to see at least a few more. See you in the next post, gamers!
