How do I get more interaction on HIVE with niche content?

in Hive Gaming4 months ago

Hey hey, hope yall are doing well! Its been quite awhile since I made any consistant content on HIVE. I'm thinking of doing a once/month MTG Deck Brewing series, and I'd love some advice on how to get more traction.

I tried for some time here to get some MTG content going, I love the game and know it quite well. I'm proud of the content and had a great time creating it. Creating new decks with wild ideas has always been a passion of mine and I thought this is a great place to share it. I personally would love to see some MTG content in my feed, but I don't see much.

Let me share some old posts so you have an idea on what type of post I'm asking for advice on.

I'm looking for some advice on things like post format and length, I'm happy taking any writing tips. I work in the trades paperwork has never been my thing. I'm also really looking for advice on how to get more traction on these upcoming posts, I feel like its just not reaching alot of MTG fans on here. Or are there just not many?

Thanks if you see this, someone let me know whats up 😆

Much love, Initiate1

You could try posting into more established communities like Tabletop / DND or Trading Cards. It's hard to start your own community and get people to read and post in it unless you have a decent following or know people to invite in there.

Outside of that the best advertising you can do for your content is to take the time to read, vote and comment on other peoples posts. Put your name out there in other ways that just posting. Hive is a community and community is built through engagement.

Differentiating your content could also be a good idea. If you go hard on MTG it might not be that incentising for people to follow you unless they're big on MTG themselves.

I did not know about those communities thanks! Exactly what I ahve been looking for 😄
