Essentially this story boils down to the focus character being given a Hindi name Varesa and a story that also relates to the in-game region based on Vedic India. Yet despite that, they placed the setting as far away from that in-game region as possible and didn't even hint at any connection between a girl named Varesa and that region. Instead she's supposedly from the African/Polynesian/Native American mash-up region. It's a hot mess lol
Still Bifrons opens up some new lore. Bifrons is a demon from the Ars Goetia that relates back to the Roman Janus who was referenced last year in another region that relates to both of the ones being referenced in this story. So there might be something there. It's weird that they turned it into a joke though.
All in all I have mixed feelings about this story. On the one hand it was cute, quirky and fun. On the other it was hard to understand where the devs were going with it. Anyway please enjoy the video and let me know what you make of the story!
