Top Gear II on SNES was my first racing game. My cousins had the system and game in the early 90s as I recall, and I had a blast with its car upgrades and tracks. It was then when I learned to focus on handling first for the best racing experience, a tactic I used through the PS2-era Need for Speed games. I haven't done much racing since then.

Ooh, good choice! I remember playing that one for the first time at a friends house. It was definitely one that paid off learning and applying what you learned. Some amazing racing games on the Super Nintendo back in the day, just not many like Top Gear II.
