Hello to all the Hive Gaming community, I had been missing for a few days because I was with some work but I'm back, and what better way to return than to talk about one of the best games I got to try as a child and that even today I still play and enjoy as at that time, today I want to talk about Crash Team Racing or also known as CTR.

This game was made by Naughty Dog (this being the last game the company made for our beloved Crash) and distracted by Sony Computer Entertainment, being released for the PlayStation 1 in 1999 and had a sequel called Crash Nitro Kart lanzanda for the PS2, Xbox and Gamecube, also thanks to the success of the original installment was released a remastered version for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in 2019 called Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.

For many this Crash game was one of the most entertaining games as it allowed the possibility to play even against 3 other players (thanks to the PS1 multitap controls) and different types of challenges to play with our friends, although it also had the story mode and a single race mode plus time trial challenges; the good amount of modes that this game presented to us made this one of my favorites as children and despite having that influence impossible not to notice of Mario Kart, this game knew how to create its own brand in the history of video games.

To the surprise of fans of the Crash saga, in this story we will see both protagonists and antagonist join to defeat a major villain, and that in this training we must face Nitros Oxide who wants to turn the earth into a parking lot and make slaves to all its inhabitants, so Crash, his sister Coco and villains like Dr. Neo Cortex, Dr. N. Gin should compete together and prevent this villain stay with the earth.

We will have the possibility of facing 4 bosses before training Nitros, besides that we will also compete against a clone of Crash. Something great but a little strange about this game is that we can unlock these 5 characters but not Nitros (against that one we can only face).

Despite not being a game with a very complex story if it is very entertaining and that is why it owes its great success in sales, achieving more than 5 million sales and achieving both its continuation and a remastering.

I can not add much to this post because this game does not have a very long story haha but the fun of this game was how challenging and fun were the races, plus its graphics were great for the time in which it came out and the advantage that you could play against more a friend and in Arcade mode against 7 other competitors was the biggest attraction of this game, I hope that this post managed to touch a little your nostalgia and make you want to give another play to this amazing installment of Crash, I hope you are great and we'll see you in another post.
Hola a toda la comunidad de Hive Gaming, llevaba unos días desaparecido porque estuvo con unos trabajos pero he regresado, y que mejor forma de volver que hablar sobre uno de los mejores juegos que llegue a probar cuando era niño y que aún al día de hoy sigo jugando y disfrutando como en esa época, hoy quiero hablarles de Crash Team Racing o también conocido como CTR.

Para muchos este juego de Crash fue uno de los más entretenidos ya que permitía la posibilidad de jugar inclusive contra otros 3 jugadores (gracias al multitap de controles del PS1) y diferentes tipos de retos para jugar con nuestros amigos, aunque también contaba con el modo historia y un modo de carrera única además de retos contrarreloj; la buena cantidad de modos que nos presentaba este juego hacia de este uno de mis favoritos de niños y pesar de tener esa influencia imposible de no notar de Mario Kart, este juego supo crear su propia marca en la historia de los videojuegos.

Para sorpresa de los fans de la saga de Crash, en esta historia veremos tanto a protagonistas como a antagonistas unirse para vencer a un villano mayor, y que en esta entrena debemos enfrentarnos a Nitros Oxide quien desea convertir la tierra en un estacionamiento y volver esclavos a todos sus habitantes, por lo tanto Crash, su hermana Coco y villanos como Dr. Neo Cortex, Dr. N. Gin deberán competir juntos y evitar que este villano se quede con la tierra.

Tendremos la posibilidad de enfrentarnos a 4 jefes antes de entrenar a Nitros, además de que competiremos también contra un clon de Crash. algo genial su que un poco extraño de este juego es que podremos desbloquear a estos 5 personajes pero no a Nitros (contra ese solo podremos enfrentarnos).

A pesar de no ser un juego con una historia muy compleja si es muy entretenido y por eso se debe su grandísimo éxito en ventas, logrando más de 5 millones de ventas y logrando tanto su continuación como una remasterización.

No me queda agregar mucho a este post ya que no es que este juego cuente con una historia muy larga jaja pero lo entretenido de este juego era lo desafiante y divertido que eran las carreras, además de que sus gráficas fueron genial para la época en la que salió y la ventaja de que se pudiera jugar contra más un amigo y en el modo Arcade contra otros 7 competidores era el mayor atractivo de este juego, espero que no esté post logré tocar un poco su nostalgia y hacer que quieran darle otra jugada a esta increíble entrega de Crash, espero se encuentren genial y nos veremos en otro post.
