The biggest news is the announcement of a new multiplayer mode called "Fox Hunt". This isn't just another regular deathmatch. Basically, it's a hide-and-seek and stealth game taken to a whole new level! Imagine having to use camouflage to hide from other players, creating intense tension between the hunter and the hunted.

Yu Sahara, the director of this mode, specifically said that Fox Hunt is NOT the same as Metal Gear Online (MGO) from the MGS4 era. He explained that the multiplayer landscape has changed a lot since then, so the team wanted to make something completely original and unique for Metal Gear. This mode focuses on stealth and survival, not just shooting battles.

Besides Fox Hunt, the trailer also hinted at the return of the silly "Snake vs. Monkey" crossover mode, inspired by the Ape Escape games. There's also exclusive content for Xbox featuring the character Bomberman.

For the single-player part, Konami is still committed to honoring the original game. The UI and boss battle mechanics look updated, but everything stays true to the original spirit and essence of the legendary 2004 MGS3 game.
