The Ravenhood is an unkindness of ravenfolk that live in the Fenmoor Basin in Praetoria's Shimmering Coasts. They are followers of Nestal, Goddess of Vengeance, Pestilence, and Disease, and forgive no injury or offense, seeking retribution (for years if necessary) until avenged. The Ravenhood are fiercely territorial, and their Wardens serve as guardians of their land and people. Ravenhood Wardens patrol the forests, plains, and swamps on the outskirts of their settlements. They also enforce the laws of the Ravenhood and keep the peace. And when outsiders commit offenses against the Ravenhood (whether the offense be violent, moral, social, or simply displeasing), it is the Ravenhood Wardens who dispense vengeance.

Hello there, fellow Splinterlands enthusiasts. This week's community challenge is about hidden gems in Splinterlands. Most people will likely be sharing cool cards that may have slipped our radar, but today I want to talk about something that may seem dead now, but still has the potential to be big again: the token SPT.
All you have to do to earn SPT is to post about Splinterlands content. You can also buy lots of SPT cheaply at Hive-Engine or TribalDex. If you stake your SPT, you can earn more by liking other people's content on SplinterTalk. I've tried delegating SPT to some of the whales on the SPT rich list, but they must be inactive, or I was too impatient, but I do believe I waited a month without getting any kickback. Do you know the best account to delegate SPT to? Please let us know in the comments.

Making the Rich Li$t
I've been staking, earning, and scooping up SPT for years now. I was really proud of myself when I passed the founders of the game, Matt and Uncle Aggy, on the rich list. I'm sitting strong on the front page at #15 right now, but it wasn't that hard to do. If you look at all my 2.5 million staked SPT, you can see it's only worth about $36, so it wouldn't be that hard to get on the list.

I'm not sure how it works, but it seems like you can't just muscle your way into becoming an SPT whale. If you were to exchange $36 of HIVE for SPT, you'd get way less than 2 million. It takes about 1,000 SPT to get one penny if you are selling it now. I try to like five to ten quality posts a day, which will end up becoming thousands of earned SPT or a few cents a day, which may not seem like much, but it really does help when I need to scrape up that 2,000 DEC to pay for the Wild Pass each season.
The last time SPT had any value was when you needed it to get airdrop points for SPS. I can't remember the numbers exactly, but I think I traded 20 or 40 thousand SPT for a few hundred bucks, so things have really gone downhill from there. I don't see why the days of 2021 can't repeat themselves. If there is another airdrop or if the second layer of HIVE, that is Splintertalk, stops acting (you like something, then the page jumps) and looks like a website from 1996, and maybe uses AI to help players share their cool battles and game progress without any effort, then maybe SPT can be an important coin again. If you are still here like me, then you must have faith in the game and feel it's here to stay. Maybe SPT has been put on the back burner for many years, but it's still the official Splinterlands token for blogging about the game and isn't going anywhere. Even if this is the best that things are going to get for SPT where it takes a thousand to get a penny, I don't regret my time or effort because mostly I'm super happy anytime I see myself on the front page of the rich list and because handing out hundreds of SPT per like has helped me gain followers and the few cents a day I earn from curating really does help out from time to time. I'm not trying to give financial advice or try and pump the SPT now that I'm at the top, but I really do think it's a coin that has been forgotten, overlooked, abandoned, and still has potential.
Ravenhood Warden

OK, enough about SPT. What about cards? One card that I'd overlooked for a long time and maybe was never even noticed by you is: Ravenhood Warden. First of all. It just looks cool. A raven archer? Hell yeah! Shields are important, and Ravenhood Warden will give you that. In fact, he'll give everyone on your team some shields. That's good, but what really helps and what gave me the edge in this battle is upping everyone's melee attack.

I'm a freak about MAXing out my cards and wish I had MAXed my Ravenhood Warden, but it was a Chaos Legion Soulbound Reward card, and I didn't have enough cards or SPS staked back then to earn enough Glint to MAX all of the reward cards back then, but Ravenhood Warden is pretty much as good at level 5 as he as at level 8 so I dropped just enough cash to level mine up to level 5 to get that melee boost.

Thanks for reading my post today. I hope my ranting about SPT and Ravenhood Warden was useful or at least engaging for you today. What do you think? Can SPT make a comeback? Did I waste my time climbing the rich list or am I right in seeing the potential for SPT?

Really good post about SPT I think like you that, if Splinterlands someday back on the track we with SPT bag will benefit from it. But times are hard and we need to be more patient.
I don't think there's any delegation services left for SPT - I might be wrong, to earn from that stake you have to upvote any content with the SPT tag, easiest way to do that is using the splintertalk.io frontend.
As far as I am aware SPT should be gaming content so with your stake you help by DVing the seveal abusers of the tag, I do this myself - nullifying the SPT rewards of people posting flower pictures, for example.
