At least survival mode is an option and you don't have to select it if you don't want to. 🙂 I gave it a go and I rather enjoyed it. After playing Skyrim normally for so many years, it's nice to have different mechanics to survive through!

The problem is that it does have certain features that I like. So, either you play survival mode with everything, or you don't play it at all.
