RE: [ENG|ESP] The Importance of good voices on Videogames // Opinion

When I think of voice acting in games, I think of two cases in particular:

Mass Effect. You get such a different experience of that game depending on if you play as a male or female. The male voice actor is monotone, sounds like he's reading off a piece of paper. The female voice actor has feeling in her voice, and makes you feel as though the character you're playing is an actual person.

The second case is... Skyrim.

Not the best Elder Scrolls game, but I enjoy it. BUT. I absolutely hated how there are maybe four voice actors in the entire game. You can talk to fifty people and hear the same voice actor. So annoying.

I haven't played too much Mass Effect because I'm playing other games before, but when I tried the first one I choosed the female protagonist, don't remenber much of her voice, but I like to use female characters, in any case i'll take in account your comment, thanks for sharing it!

About Skyrim... yeah, I know exactly what you mean, I understand that It must be expensive to hire that many voice actors, but man, a couple more don't harm you know.
