I have been playing Idle Raiders for the last few days. It's a fun, idle game, where you:
collect heroes of different class, rarities,
raid dungeons,
collect rewards
Buy Packs with rewards or
Train Heroes / Level up heroes to get better rewards.
First, you pay a one-time activation fee, 49.989 swap.hive, around ~$10, to start your adventure in the game.
Then, you start by recruiting heroes through buying packs.
Hero Packs:
Each pack cost 2,500 Raid tokens or 2 USD worth of swap.hive. Each hero pack contains 3 random heroes with varying rarities.
Initially, I bought around 24 packs with swap.hive. And then some through the Raid tokens earned by playing the game.
There are four different rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary.
Then, there are 6 different hero classes:
Warrior: High attack/defence hero.
Archer: Fast attackers with high critical rates
Mage: Magical damage dealers with unique abilities
Paladin: Defensive Support with healing buffs.
Rogue: Stealthy, high-damage critical strikers
Blacksmith: Enhances gear and supports the team.
In the initial pack opening, I got good RNG, and got some Epics human warrior and archers.
However, in my last pack opening, I got three commons, some BAD RNG!
There are two tokens: Raid and SHRD.
Raid is a high-circulation token for daily gameplay activities and consistent progression through the game.
Raid tokens can be used for:
Buying Hero Packs (2500 Raid per pack)
Level up Heroes, then train heroes to increase their stats.
Hero Fusion (1000-10,000 Raid per fusion, varies by rarity)
Building Upgrades.
Drop Rates: Common : 80%, Rare: 15%, Epic: 4.75%, Legendary: 0.25%
Hero Races: Human (85%), Elf/Dwarf/Beastfolk(5% each).
GamePlay
There are three modes for now: Dungeon Raids, Territory wars, and Boss Raids.
Dungeon Raids:
Each raid duration is 6 hours to complete. You can send up to 5 heroes per raid. And you can have 3 ongoing raids at any given time. A 5% tax is paid to the territory owner for dungeons if there is an owner.
Territory War
There are 5 territories: Evershade, Sunrise Citadel, Frosthold, Ember City, Iron Citadel.
Territories are always contestable - no weekly schedule or ceasefire
Each territory provides hourly RAID tokens and SHARDS when controlled.

You can earn a 10% earnings buff per territory owned (max 100%)
Territories reset at the end of each season.
2.5% tax on dungeons rewards if the dungeon is linked to an owned territory.
Occupy vs Reinforce
Occupy Territory
Attack empty territories or challenge current owners.
You can send up to 5 heroes on occupation raids.
Territory HP = Total Defense of your party x 10
Attack Power = Total Damage of your party x 5
If attack power exceeds current HP or territory is empty, you take control and start earning rewards.
Reinforce Territory
Only the current owner can reinforce a territory
You can deploy an additional 5 heroes as defenders
Reinforcements increase territory HP and max HP (defence x 10)
Heroes remain on defensive duty until recalled.
Boss Battle System
There are 10 world bosses, each with 500M- 5B Health.

Bosses must be activated to start a raid cycle
Each cycle has a deployment window (join with heroes) and a raid window (deal damage)
Bosses reset globally every 15 days (seasonal)
You can only join each boss raid once per cycle
Each Boss raid is 5 minutes long.
You can attack a boss 4 times a day.
Heroes used in boss raids are unavailable for other content until the raid ends(25-30 mins cooldown, you cannot use them in dungeon raids).
Your reward share is based on your total damage contribution during the raid window.
Boss Defeated: You earn 5 Raid + 0.01 Shards per 100,000 damage dealt (full reward multiplier)
Boss Survives: You earn 2.5 Raid + 0.005 SHARDS per 100,000 damage dealt (50% reward multiplier)

Hero Levelling And Training System
The better the hero stats, the better the RAID rewards for each mode.

First, you need to level up your heroes. Each level up requires RAID tokens + the number of Raids done.
For example, to level up your hero from 1 to 2, you need to participate in dungeon raids 5 times and require 1000 raid tokens.
Levelling up just increases the maximum cap for stats. You have to train your heroes to increase their stats.
For example, today, I levelled up a mage and paladin. It cost 500 RAID tokens to level up from level 1 to 2.
Now, to increase the stats of the mage to the maximum cap, I need 1850 RAID tokens, and train the mage for 185 mins, 5 minutes/stat increase.
The training and levelling up of heroes is a good RAID token sink that keeps the raid tokens in demand.

Thank you for this awesome post!
Welcome, enjoying the game, love the UI, and excited about the future updates!
It is an highly addictive game for sure :O). I put around 1k € into it and if I had more lying around, I would put more into it, but I have to restrain myself and just accumulate new packs with RAID.
I'm very eager to see, what ideas @mainstream has for the future. I really hope, marketing is included, because this has potential to be another Splinterlands and in many ways, it could surpass it.
1k is quite a good amount, if the game succeeds, you will get good rewards to be early and invested. The UI and mechanics are good. I haven't explored territory wars and other things, just bought packs and dungeon raids. I did fuse a common hero to see what it does but it didn't had much effect. Still early, and a lot of mechanics are changing....
Try to be in Discord and absorb @Mainstreams posts or read the How to play. Fusing is the most important way to buff your hero. Common cards are naturally not as powerful as rares, epics and legendaries but 2-stars (First fusion) common has a 1,25 multiplier to all stats you train.
Hmm, I see, thanks for sharing about fusing!
