Brewing Disaster from Southwest Mauo Pt.2, 5 Years Later - a WorldBox Story

Untitled.png

It's quite puzzling that the populations now of Southwest Mauo and Japan are reduced by almost 50 after I resumed the game. I wouldn't noticed it if not for the previous screenshot taken in the part 1 in which Southwest Mauo had 179 and Japan had 200. Fast forward 5 years and the development for both sides are evident. Having the geography advantage Japan is doing well with it's population closing to 300 but it's not something to be complacent about since the orcs of SW Mauo almost passed the 200 population limit.

Age of Hope, 105th Year, Month of Crabuary (February)

Japan now has 7 villages with Ywaina being the capital. There are only 49 people here currently and the village head name is Onem from the clan Papekouk. His biological age is 25 years old which is quite young since Japan's chief is 70 if I'm not mistaken. He currently has only two traits which are content and tough. Content has a great boost of +10 in loyalty stat, has a minor boost of +2 in both stewardship and diplomacy, and a minor warfare penalty of -2. It's quite uncommon but for me it's a boring stat. Tough on the other hand is much common based on my experience but the great thing about it it has no downside. It gave the character great boost in armor and fertility and minor boost in warfare and max age (longevity). Onem also has this legendary sword which is a pity since it's made of wood. And just by it's name "Broken Blade" it's not something that would be reliable.

Wuphupab is an interesting name for Japan's culture. The culture was founded on the 27th of Crabuary, Year 65 at the capital village of Ywaina. Since their inception into this world the humans of Japan have developed their technology quite well. They finished developing some of the most important knowledges like transport boats and roads. They also have windmills one of the why almost everyone is satiated when you check their status. Tier 3 houses have become common providing comfort for the growing population. And one of the most important thing is that they also started weapon production and discover how to produced sword. There are plenty of different mines scattered in the island so it wouldn't be hard for them to gather the materials. They really need weapon since the orcs already have their innate physical advantages over them.

Contrary to their future adversaries the orcs of SW Mauo have it hard. Their culture is called Dak Kek which was founded on the 15th of Meow (May), Year 65. Because of the brutal environment of Candy biome they lacked one of the most essential resources to advance their civilization smoothly and that is obviously wood. They are yet to develop their transport boats and they don't have roads yet. It's very likely that humans would have the early advantage if ever conflict arises since they already have the mobility needed for their defense. But at the end of the day they are dealing with orcs. One thing that orcs have that the humans don't are mines. They now have that knowledge which gives them a bit of advantage to develop better weapons. They also a bit a head since they now have spears. What ever happens we will see in the next part of this series.
