Chessmaster 2000 is a chess video game developed by Software Toolworks and released in 1986.

It was very popular at the time and was noted for its strong artificial intelligence that offered a challenge to chess players of all levels.

The game allowed players to play against different computer-controlled opponents, each with their own style of play and level of difficulty.

Personally I liked it in the way of learning and I acquired very good knowledge of the game that later served me when I played real games against my friends.
