This is a collectible card game developed and published by Riot Games, the same company behind the popular “League of Legends” game.

Officially released in April 2020, for PC and iOS and Android devices, it is set in the Runeterra universe, a world rich in lore and characters that “League of Legends” fans are already familiar with.

The game combines elements of strategy and tactics, allowing players to build custom decks using cards representing champions, spells and units from different regions of Runeterra.

Each region has its own unique play style and mechanics, adding depth and variety to the experience. Some of the regions available include Demacia, Noxus, Ionia, Piltover & Zaun, Freljord and Bilgewater, each with its own history and features.

One feature is its turn-based gameplay system, where players alternate between attacking and defending. This allows for a strategic dynamic in which players must anticipate their opponent's moves and plan their own actions accordingly.

In addition, the game introduces a “mana” system that accumulates throughout the rounds, allowing players to play more powerful cards as the game progresses.

The game also stands out for its focus on accessibility. Unlike other collectible card games, it allows players to obtain cards through gameplay, rather than relying solely on microtransactions.

Players can earn experience and rewards by participating in games, allowing them to unlock new cards and build stronger decks without spending real money.

In addition, it features a game mode called “Deck Building,” where players can create their own decks from scratch, as well as an “Arena” mode that offers a more casual gameplay experience focused on building decks on the fly.
