Today I'm very excited because I finally achieved a goal I've been pursuing for a long time, ever since I learned it was possible. I'm referring to turning one of my Sims into a Plant Sim. This one is called a "Plant Sim" and is, so to speak, the pinnacle of the gardening skill 😃 But I'm not just going to tell you about the experience; through this post, other Sims who are interested and have The Sims 4 can do it too. It's not easy to achieve, but the process is very enjoyable.
Hoy estoy muy emocionada porque finalmente logré un objetivo que estuve persiguiendo desde hace mucho, desde que supe que se podía hacer, me refiero a convertir a uno de mis sims en Sim planta, a este se le llama "Simagreste" y es, por decirlo así, la cúspide de la habilidad jardinería 😃 pero no solo les voy a contar la experiencia sino que a través de este post los simers que estén interesados y tengan los sims 4 puedan hacerlo también, no es algo sencillo de lograr pero se disfruta mucho en el proceso.
This is Benjamin Eisenberg, a young gardener specializing in flower arrangements. He has put so much effort into his work and loves plants so much that he wants to experience becoming one, albeit temporarily, but he knows he can do it, so he has the best attitude.
Este es Benjaming Eisenberg, un joven jardinero especialista en arreglos de flores, él le ha puesto tanto empeño a su trabajo y ama tanto las plantas que desea vivir la experiencia de convertirse en una, desde luego temporalmente, pero él sabe que puede lograrlo, así que tiene la mejor actitud.
To achieve this, the first thing he did was buy and install a tree stump in the yard. This stump (although it cannot be seen due to the snow) has some holes on which he must install some elements, but because it is winter for now he will not be able to do it, he will have to wait until spring arrives. This is done in build mode, in the outdoor area, right by the potted plant icon. I've circled it in black in the screenshot so you can find it more easily.
Para lograrlo lo primero que hizo fue comprar e instalar un tocón en el patio, este tocón (aunque no se puede apreciar debido a la nieve) tiene unos agujeros sobre los cuales debe instalar algunos elementos, pero debido a que es invierno por ahora no podrá hacerlo, tendrá que esperar a que llegue la primavera. Esto se consigue en el modo construir, en el área de exteriores, justo en el ícono de la planta en la maceta. En la captura de pantalla lo señalé con circulo negro para que ustedes puedan identificarlo más rápido.
And with the magic of time, spring arrived, so Benjamin quickly began buying special seeds (in build mode). He had to buy a lot of seed packets because finding what he was looking for wouldn't be easy. They were magic beans, but the important thing is that in the process he found some very unusual seeds, like the Death Flower, which is very useful if your fateful hour arrives; you could offer it to Death as a gift in exchange for your precious life.
Y con la magia del tiempo la primavera llegó, así que rápidamente Bengamin comenzó a comprar semillas especiales (en el modo construir) pero debió comprar muchísimos sobres de semillas porque no sería tarea sencilla encontrar lo que él está buscando. Se trata de unas judías mágicas, pero lo importante es que en el proceso fue encontrando algunas semillas muy inusuales como la de flor de la muerte, que es muy útil para usarla en caso de que te llegue la hora fatídica, podrías ofrecérsela a la parca como regalo a cambio de tu preciada vida.
And here it is! Benjamin found the first of the magic beans 😃, the blue bean or sad bean, keep it well stored until you find the others 😉

There it is, settled on the magic stump. Now Benjamin will need five more beans: the red bean (angry), purple bean (flirtatious bean), orange bean (awkward bean), pink bean (flirtatious bean), and light blue bean (confident bean).

Benjamin persistently dedicated himself to buying more and more packets of unusual seeds, which were not cheap at all, but only in this way was he able to collect all the ones he needed.

With his heart pounding with excitement, our dear Benjamin watered the stump and the beans so they would sprout. He thought it would take some time, but since they are magical elements, it only took a few seconds. Look how enormous that tree is! Besides being beautiful, it's like a magical willow tree 🤗 😍
Con el corazón palpitante de emoción nuestro querido Benjamin se dedicó a regar el tocón y las judías para que germinaran, él pensó que se tardaría algún tiempo pero en vista de que son elementos mágicos solo bastaron unos segundos. Miren lo enorme que es ese árbol, además de precioso, es como un sauce mágico 🤗 😍
But Benjamin certainly wasn't going to let his curiosity go unchecked. The magic tree had a door, so the best thing to do was go through it. Upon entering, expecting to find darkness, Benjamin found quite the opposite: sunny pastures teeming with flora. He glanced to one side and saw a radiant tree laden with fruit. Curious, he plucked one of the fruits, but immediately noticed everything turning dark. Before he knew it, he was outside the tree's portal, but with that strange fruit in his pocket.
Pero desde luego que Benjamin no se iba a quedar con la curiosidad, el árbol mágico tiene una puerta, así que lo mejor que podría hacer sería atravesarla. Al entrar, esperando encontrar oscuridad, Benjamin consiguió todo lo contrario, pastos soleados rebosantes de flora. Él miró hacia un ladi y allí vio un árbol resplandeciente y lleno de frutos, entonces, con mucha curiosidad arrancó uno de esos frutos pero enseguida notó que todo se llenaba de oscuridad y antes de darse cuenta ya estaba fuera del portal del árbol, pero con ese fruto extraño en el bolsillo.
This is the "forbidden" fruit of the Simagreste. The description says you can plant it to grow another fabulous tree like the one inside the portal, but it also says that if you eat it, you'll become a Simagreste. Will Benjamin try it?... Of course he will, we're all dying of curiosity, aren't we?
Este es el fruto "prohibido" del simagreste, la descripción dice que puedes plantarlo para cultivar otro árbol fabuloso como el que está dentro del portal, pero también también dice que si lo comes te convertirás en un simagreste. ¿Lo probará Benjamin?... Pues por supuesto que sí, todos aquí morimos de curiosidad, ¿no?.
Wow, what a transformation! 😲😃 It might be a little scary at first. What will happen to Benjamin? But no, nothing bad will happen. According to the description, he'll just behave a little differently for a few days. Actually, it says he'll behave naturally, but in the most literal sense possible. 😄 That is, while he's in that state, he won't have to eat human food anymore. He'll need water and sunlight to photosynthesize, just like other plants. Oh! And he won't have to go to the bathroom either.
¡Wow, Vaya transformación! 😲 😃 Puede que de un poco de miedo al inicio ¿Qué le sucederá a Benjamin? Pero no, no sucederá nada malo, según la descripción solo se comportará de forma algo extra por unos días, en realidad dice que se comportará de forma natural pero en el sentido más literal posible 😄 osea mientras esté en ese estado ya no tendrá que comer comida de humanos, necesitará agua y energía solar para hacer la fotosíntesis, como las demás plantas. ¡Ahh! y además no tendrá que ir al baño.
The body loses water slowly and is easily replenished by drinking water, taking a shower, or swimming in the pool. However, hunger levels drop very quickly, and it's not easy to get enough energy directly from the sun because sometimes the day is cloudy, and it's even worse at night. So, what can be done? Luckily, Benjamin has a large collection of plants at home because he loves gardening. He harnessed solar energy from them, and this is how he was able to satisfy his hunger. Amazing! 😃
El nivel corporal del agua se pierde lentamente y se sacia muy fácil, bebiendo agua o simplemente tomando una ducha o nadando en la piscina, pero el nivel del hambre baja muy rápido y no es fácil tomarlo directamente del sol porque a veces el día está nublado, y cuando es de noche es peor, entonces ¿Qué se puede hacer? Menos mal que Benjamin tienen una gran colección de plantas en casa, debido a que ama la jardinería, porque lo que hizo fue tomar energía solar de ellas, de esta manera pudo saciar su hambre, es asombroso 😃
