I hope you are super well and welcome to a new post made by me in Hive Gaming, a week ago I talked about one of my favorite Nintendo DS video games, yes gentlemen that portable console that gave us so many hours of fun, that at its launch we said it was the future for its innovative feature of using two screens for the same game.
Well, today I will talk about another video game that I loved from the Nintendo DS. My God, you don't know how many hours I dedicated to this great game, you remember I told you about Mario Kart DS right, well today I will tell you about Mario Party DS.
It is a game of the Mario Bros saga where we will be on a board as if it were a board game and as we move forward in the game, we will find numerous tests which are popularly known as mini-games, the story of this Mario Party sets our characters to our world of everyday life, they are transported here but in miniature, ie as insects, for that reason, most of the mini-games are set in familiar areas where we hang out and they in miniature trying to escape.
I must confess that I am not a big fan of the Mario Party saga, I only like two titles, Mario Party DS and Mario Party 7 that I played in my childhood with my family, but we will talk about it another time, the first time I played Mario Party DS I was very excited because it reminded me a lot of the Mario Party mentioned before, the gameplay is the classic, we are a character and we have to get the most stars to win, in case of a tie with another person for the same amount of stars, the tiebreaker method will be the number of coins we have, that way the winner with more coins is chosen.
At least this is the gameplay in Mario Party DS, I remember that I managed to pass the game at 90% there was a time where I got stuck, but I do not remember where, I guess it was on the board of Kramer's office, according to my memory that area was one of the most difficult to get a star and one thing leads to another, there are different game modes that we can use in Mario Party DS, in total there are 5 game modes, the first one is the story mode.
If my memory does not fail me, this mode served us both to unlock new boards and get collectibles for the gallery, I do not remember if you could unlock characters, I think not, well the story mode is the most difficult because it is with the default settings of the game, ie, the difficulty will be chosen alone and we will only have 10 turns to get the most stars.
Returning to the area where I got stuck as a child, I could not pass it because of the limited number of turns, in Kramer's office, the stars appeared in the remote log are, if we do not choose the right path and do not win the mini-games we will not have any chance to get the stars, besides if someone else does it, very likely another star appears on the other side of the map and remember there are only 10 turns, so it was life or death to get the first star.
A very important part that I almost overlooked, the stars must be exchanged with coins (the amount varies depending on the map), if we do not have enough coins our character will pass by and not grab the star, believe me in very frustrating after a long way trying to get the star and not let you for insufficient funds, coins are obtained by the lucky boxes or also by winning the mini-games, so it is very important to start with the right foot and the last thing you had to face were the bosses I remember that there were bosses haha.
In summary, the story mode is used to unlock the other boards and add things to the gallery, I could never pass it for the reasons I mentioned above, although I still have very good memories, it also serves to unlock mini-games and that brings me to the next game mode which is the free mode, which means free mode, it is a mode where we can choose the board, the difficulty, and our opponents, this mode only serves to unlock the mini-games.
Speaking of mini-games, the third game mode we have available is the mini-game room, in this mode, we can freely choose the mini-game we want to play without having to start a game with a board, so there is a huge list of mini-games classified into different modes, for example, the mini-games of all against all are in the first list, then there are those that are two against two, then there are those of one against three and then there is the battle.
I do not remember many mini-games, I am not going to mention them all because they did not last here until Christmas, but I remember some, for example, there was a mini-game where there were four players in a sink, each one was surfing with soap, the goal was to get the others out of the sink until there was only one participant left, There was another mini-game like all against all where the characters played a video game similar to Tetris, the goal was to get out of that video game but you could fall into the void thanks to the floor that changes color from black to blue to green and even white, that was one of the most difficult.
I also remember one that was to give a beaver the candy that he requested, there was also one that was of guns in a maze I think that was in battle mode, there was another one that was to fish the redfish to get a treasure or something like that, there was also one that was to paint a character of the Mario saga with crayons this was in 2 against 2 modes, I just remember another that was in 1 against 3, that consisted of a snowboarding race three of the participants on a wooden sled and the remaining ones in a spoon.
My favorite mini-game of this Mario Party was always the soccer with the hand, you do not know how much fun I had playing this absurd mini-game by myself, it was super fun and gave me a lot of laughter, the idea of the mini-game was to score as many goals until the time runs out, but it was not played with the feet, it was played with the hands hahaha it was amazing, you could hit the opponents or even the partner, this mini-game was played 2 against 2.
To finish we have two more game modes, the puzzle mode that I will be honest I never understood it and the multiplayer mode, this is one of the best DS games to play with friends, I remember on a birthday that my best friend, my cousin and I played Mario Party DS, knowing me capable I was in the last place haha, the last thing before finishing, in this Mario Party DS there are stores, during a game we can buy some items that may be useful for the game.

Espero que estén super bien y sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post hecho por mà en Hive Gaming, hace una semana hablé sobre uno de mis videojuegos favoritos de la Nintendo DS, si señores esa consola portátil que nos dio tantas horas de diversión, que en su lanzamiento dijimos que era del futuro por su innovación caracterÃstica de usar dos pantallas para un mismo juego.
Pues hoy les hablare de otro videojuego que me encantó de la Nintendo DS. Dios mÃo no saben cuántas horas le dediqué a este pedazo de juegazo, recuerdan que les hablé de Mario Kart DS verdad, bueno pues hoy les hablaré de Mario Party DS.
Se trata de un juego de la saga Mario Bros donde estaremos en un tablero como si fuera un juego de mesa y a medida que vayamos avanzando en la partida nos encontraremos con numerosas pruebas a las que popularmente se les dice como minijuegos, la historia de este Mario Party ambienta a nuestros personajes a nuestro mundo de la vida cotidiana, ellos son transportados hasta aquà pero en miniatura, es decir, como insectos, por esa razón la mayorÃa de los minijuegos están ambientados en zonas conocidas donde pasamos el rato y ellos en miniatura tratando de escapar.
Debo confesar que no soy muy fan de la saga Mario Party, solamente me gustan dos tÃtulos, Mario Party DS y Mario Party 7 que lo jugué en mi infancia con mi familia, pero de él hablaremos en otra ocasión, la primera vez que jugué al Mario Party DS me emocioné muchÃsimo porque me recordaba mucho al Mario Party antes mencionado, la jugabilidad es la clásica, somos un personaje y tenemos que conseguir la mayor cantidad de estrellas para poder ganar, en caso de empate con otra persona por la misma cantidad de estrellas, el método de desempate será la cantidad de monedas que tengamos, de ese modo se escoge al ganador con más cantidad de monedas.
Al menos asà es la jugabilidad en Mario Party DS, yo recuerdo que logré pasar el juego a un 90% hubo un tiempo donde me trabé, pero no recuerdo en donde, supongo que era en el tablero de la oficina de Kramer, según mi memoria esa zona era una de las más difÃciles para conseguir una estrella y una cosa lleva a la otra, hay distintos modos de juego que podemos emplear en Mario Party DS, en total son 5 modos de juego, el primero es el modo historia.
Si mi memoria no me falla, este modo nos servÃa tanto para desbloquear nuevos tableros como conseguir objetos coleccionables para la galerÃa, no recuerdo que si se podÃan desbloquear personajes, creo que no, bueno el modo historia es el más difÃcil porque está con la configuración predefinida del juego, es decir, la dificultad se elegirá sola y sólo tendremos 10 turnos para conseguir la mayor cantidad de estrellas.
Volviendo a la zona donde me trabé de pequeño, al parecer no la pude pasar por el número limitado de turnos, en la oficina de Kramer las estrellas aparecÃan en logares remotos, si no escogemos bien el camino y no ganamos los minijuegos no tendremos ninguna posibilidad de conseguir las estrellas, aparte si alguien más lo hace, muy capaz aparece otra estrella al otro lado del mapa y recuerden sólo hay 10 turnos, asà que era de vida o muerte conseguir la primera estrella.
Una parte muy importante que casi se me pasa por alto, las estrellas deben se intercambiadas con monedas (la cantidad varÃa según el mapa), si no tenemos monedas suficientes nuestro personaje pasará de largo y no agarra la estrella, créame en muy frustrante después de un largo camino tratar de conseguir la estrella y que no te deje por fondos insuficientes, las monedas se consiguen por las casillas de suerte o también por ganar los minijuegos, por eso es muy importante empezar con el pie derecho y la última cosa que habÃa que enfrentar eran los jefes creo recordar que habÃan jefes jaja.
En resumen, el modo historia sirve para desbloquear los demás tableros y agregar cosas a la galerÃa, jamás lo pude pasar por las cuestiones que anteriormente mencioné, aunque bueno igual tengo muy buenos recuerdos, también sirve para desbloquear minijuegos y eso me lleva al siguiente modo de juego que es el modo libre, que quiere decir modo libre, se trata de un modo donde podemos escoger el tablero, la dificultad y nuestro contrincantes, este modo solamente sirve para desbloquear los minijuegos.
Hablando de minijuegos el tercer modo de juego que tenemos disponible se trata de la sala de minijuegos, en este modo podemos escoger de forma libre el minijuego que queramos jugar sin necesidad de comenzar una partida con un tablero, asà es hay un enorme listado de minijuegos clasificados en distintos modos, por ejemplo, los minijuegos de todos contra todos están en el primer listado, luego están los que son de dos contra dos, luego están los de uno contra tres y luego están los de batalla.
No me acuerdo de muchos minijuegos, tampoco los voy a mencionar a todos porque si no duró aquà hasta Navidad, pero si recuerdo algunos, por ejemplo, existÃa un minijuego donde estaban los cuatro jugadores en un lavamanos, cada uno estaba surfeando con un jabón, el objetivo era sacar a los demás del lavamanos hasta que quedara un solo participante, habÃa otro minijuego igual todos contra todos donde los personajes se metÃan a un videojuego parecido tetris, el objetivo era salir de ese videojuego pero te podÃas caer al vacÃo gracias al suelo que cambia de color de negro a azul a verde y hasta blanco, ese era uno de los más difÃciles.
También recuerdo uno que era darle a un castor los caramelos que el solicitaba, habÃa uno también que era de pistolas en un laberinto creo que ese era en modo batalla, habÃa otro que era de pescarlas los peces esos rojos para conseguir un tesoro o algo asÃ, también habÃa uno que era de pintar a un personaje de la saga de Mario con crayones este era en modo 2 contra 2, acabo de recordad otro que era en 1 contra 3, ese consistÃa en una carrera de snowboarding tres de los participantes en un trineo de madera y el restante en una cuchara.
Mi minijuego favorito de este Mario Party siempre fue el de futbol con la mano, ustedes no saben cuanto me divertà jugando yo solito a este minijuego tan absurdo, era super divertido y me daba mucha risa, la idea del minijuego era hacer la mayor cantidad de anotaciones hasta que se acabe el tiempo, pero no se jugaba con los pies, se jugaba con las manos jajajaja era increÃble, le podÃas pegar a los contrincantes o incluso al compañero, este minijuego se jugaba 2 contra 2.
Para acabar tenemos otros dos modos de juego más, el modo puzle que les seré sincero yo jamás lo entendà y el modo multijugador, este es uno de los mejores juegos de DS para jugar con amigos, yo recuerdo en un cumpleaños que mi mejor amigo, mis primo y yo jugamos a Mario Party DS, conociéndome a mi capaz quedé en ultimo lugar jaja, ultima cosa antes de acabar, en este Mario Party DS existen las tiendas, durante una partida podemos comprar algunos Ãtems que puede ser que nos sirvan para la partida.
