Mi experiencia jugando al Mejor Need for Speed
Hola Gamers ¿Cómo están? Espero que estén super bien y sean bienvenidos a una nueva publicación hecha por mí. Como saben, soy un gran fanático de los juegos de carreras y una de las sagas que más me gustan es Need for Speed, que me dirían si les cuento que una leyenda acaba de resurgir de sus cenizas jaja, hoy quiero hablar de uno de los juegos de NFS que más me divirtieron cuando era niño y hoy en día lo han revivido, eso sí con otro nombre.
Exacto, estoy hablando de Need for Speed World, el NFS online que los fans disfrutamos entre los años de 2010 hasta 2014, este juego recuerdo que lo jugaba todos los días prácticamente con algunos familiares en las carreras online que se hacían, este juego fue una pasada y hoy día lo volvieron abrir y mucha gente está jugando y hablando de él, así que en este post les voy a contar mi experiencia reviviendo lo mucho que disfruté jugando este juego, llevo una semana jugándolo y la neta me he divertido mucho.
Need for Speed World es un juego super chévere combinando tres grandes mapas de la saga de NFS, tenemos el mapa de NFS Underground 2, NFS Carbon y por supuesto de NFS Most Wanted, o bueno al menos eso es lo que creo ya que el mapa es demasiado grande jaja, tenemos pruebas de todo tipo, desde carreras super sencillas hasta carreras que nos demandan una cierta cantidad de nuestro tiempo, lo cual puede ser un desafío para esos fieles corredores de la saga, con una recompensa que vale la pena.
Este juegazo lo empecé a jugar desde hace una semana, ya llevo siete días jugando un par de horas y les mostraré todo lo que he avanzado y con las cosas buenas que me he encontrado en el juego y otras que deberían ser pulidas. Para empezar tu aventura en NFS World o NRZ Horizon debemos escoger un auto que sea de categoría “E” una categoría muy básica en cuento a potencia de autos se refiere, los autos más destacables que puedes encontrar son un Golf, un Nissan Silvia y un Dodge Charger, este último fue que terminé eligiendo para empezar a jugar.
Al poco tiempo empecé a notar un par de cosas, por ejemplo, que los objetos que eran pagos como motores, frenos, otras prestaciones y piezas de autos, ahora todas están disponibles y las puedes comprar para tu auto, siempre y cuando subas de nivel jugando algunas carreras, lo mismo pasa con los autos, todos están disponibles siempre y cuando tengas el dinero, recuerdo que el Ferrari F40 era pago y nadie podía usarlo jaja.
También note cambios en la jugabilidad de este juego, es algo limitada, limitada en el sentido de que no podemos hacer muchas configuraciones, más allá de jugar con las típicas teclas de W,A,S,D respectivamente, también podemos manejar el auto con las flechas de dirección del teclado, no tenemos un botón de nitro ilimitado como en los juegos originales de la saga NFS, si no que acá el nitro es un power up más que tenemos que conseguir ganando carreras.
Otra cosa que me dejó raro fue el hecho de no poder configurar la transmisión de los coches, por alguna razón todos los autos son automáticos, no sincrónicos, lo cual para mí es algo malo ya que le quita lo realista de manejar un coche en el juego, a su vez desde mi experiencia en videojuegos de carrera la transmisión manual te deja un mejor rendimiento en las carreras ya que puedes manipular las velocidades cuando la situación lo amerite.
Los power ups son útiles, podemos usar el nitro, podemos usar el rebufo para aprovechar el aire de los competidores, podemos usar derrape para tener mejor estabilidad a la hora de derrapar en las curvas, entre otros poderes, honestamente no uso mucho estos power ups porque siento que quitan un poco la esencia de la carrera, eso sí, si fueran ilimitados sería otra cosa jaja, también tenemos power ups para usar con los policías, como campos de fuerza, invisibilidad, o fuerza de choque en caso de tener una colisión con una barrera mandar a volar a los autos jaja.
Por otro lado, con tanto power ups y demás, las carreras en el juego al principio son algo difíciles, tanto a nivel local como a nivel online, cuando estamos en el juego ya en la ciudad podemos elegir cualquier carrera y nos lanzará distintas opciones, estás puede ser “Multijugador” o “Un Jugador”, la opción de un Jugador fue la primera que probé, en estas carreras estás sólo contra un montón de bost, el tema es que estos bots tienen autos que están mejor modificados que el tuyo y por lógica es bastante complicado quedar en primera posición en estas carreras, pero no es imposible.
En cambio, en el modo “Multijugador” es distinto ya que vamos a entrar en una carrera con distintos usuarios del servidor, en las carreras se pueden participar hasta 8 personas, aunque a día de hoy como el juego está prácticamente nuevo pues no hay mucha gente conectada en los servidores, mientras más gente entre creo que las carreras se volverán mucho más interesantes.
Mi experiencia con estás carreras no es la mejor jaja, ya que siempre hay una persona que tiene un auto mucho mejor que el tuyo, aparte que se conoce todos los rincones del mapa y su velocidad no da tregua de nada, así que si vienes con ganas de ganar en el modo online déjame decirte que es un proceso largo jaja, ni siquiera con mi mejor auto he podido rebasar alguna de estas bestias, siempre me quedo en último lugar o si tengo suerte dos posiciones más altas que el último puesto jaja.
Por otra parte, vamos a volver con las clases de autos, como dije empezamos con autos de Clase “E”, jugué un par de carreras con el Dodge Charger pero al poco tiempo decidí cambiar de auto ya que este poderoso muscle car no me daba gusto manejarlo, así que me fui por uno de los mejores de la clase “D” un Porsche Cayman S, este auto en lo personal me encanta, si lo llegamos a modificar al máximo en el juego puede llegar a ser incluso clase “A”.
Sin embargo, decidí invertir en otro auto, uno de la clase “C” que es la siguiente categoría que podemos desbloquear, en esta clase me hacia ilusión usar el Corvette Stingray de los años 60, otro muscle car a en mi garaje, aunque debo reconocer que me decepcionó un poco por su poca eficacia en el manejo, en cuanto a velocidad punta es muy bueno, pero en curvas dejaba mucho que desear, así que no lo usé por mucho tiempo.
Luego de la clase “C” viene la clase “B”, en dicha categoría ningún auto me llamó la atención, así que seguí jugando un par de carreras para subir al nivel suficiente y así desbloquear la clase “A” en este punto pude adquirir el auto que tengo en la actualidad y es el Corvette Zr1 modificado, con todas sus prestaciones podemos llegar a clase “S1”, este otro Corvette me encanta, tanto su velocidad como manejo son excitantes, y con este auto pienso usarlo un buen rato hasta que pueda comprar un auto de categoría “S2” o quién sabe tal vez categoría “X” que es la más alta que está disponible en el juego.
Por último, si vas a empezar a jugar a este juego de NFS, te recomiendo dos cosas, la primera es la experiencia y la otra es el dinero, para poder avanzar en el juego debes subir de nivel y tener dinero, esto se logra de dos formas, hacer miles de carreras cortas o jugar las carreras super largas que te cuestan 40 minutos de tu vida en el modo online, lo bueno de estas carreras largas es que la recompensa vale mucho la pena, no lo diré para no arruinar la experiencia.
Lo malo es que no se puede poner pausa en la carrera jaja, así que más te vale que nadie te necesité en ese periodo de tiempo jaja, bromas aparte, más allá de algunas cosas malas que noté en el juego como la inhabilidad de los autos manuales o que a veces el server se puede caer por bajas de conexión, la realidad es que este nuevo intento de NFS World o “NRZ Horizon” merece una oportunidad y en esta última semana he estado jugando bastante jaja.

Exactly, I'm talking about Need for Speed World, the online NFS that fans enjoyed between the years of 2010 to 2014, this game I remember playing every day practically with some family members in the online races that were made, this game was a blast and today they opened it again and many people are playing and talking about it, so in this post, I'm going to tell you my experience reliving how much I enjoyed playing this game, I've been playing it for a week and the truth is I had a lot of fun.
Need for Speed World is a super cool game combining three great maps of the NFS saga, we have the map of NFS Underground 2, NFS Carbon and of course, NFS Most Wanted, or at least that's what I think because the map is too big haha, we have tests of all kinds, from super simple races to races that demand a certain amount of our time, which can be a challenge for those faithful racers of the saga, with a reward that is worth it.
I started playing this great game a week ago, I've been playing it for seven days now for a couple of hours and I'll show you everything I've advanced and the good things I've found in the game and others that should be polished. To start your adventure in NFS World or NRZ Horizon we must choose a car that is of category "E" a very basic category in terms of car power, the most notable cars you can find are a Golf, a Nissan Silvia, and a Dodge Charger, the latter was that I ended up choosing to start playing.
After a while I started to notice a couple of things, for example, that the items that were paid like engines, brakes, other features, and car parts, now all are available and you can buy them for your car, as long as you level up playing some races, the same thing happens with the cars, all are available as long as you have the money, I remember that the Ferrari F40 was paid and no one could use it haha.
I also noticed changes in the gameplay of this game, it is somewhat limited, limited in the sense that we can not make many configurations, beyond playing with the typical keys W, A, S, and D respectively, we can also drive the car with the arrow keys, we do not have an unlimited nitro button as in the original games of the NFS saga, but here the nitro is a power-up that we have to get by winning races.
Another thing that left me weird was the fact of not being able to configure the transmission of the cars, for some reason all cars are automatic, not synchronous, which for me is a bad thing because it takes away the realism of driving a car in the game, in turn from my experience in racing games manual transmission leaves you a better performance in the races because you can manipulate the speeds when the situation warrants.
The power-ups are useful, we can use nitro, we can use the slipstream to take advantage of the air of the competitors, and we can use skid to have better stability when skidding in the curves, among other powers, honestly, I do not use these power-ups much because I feel that they take away a little the essence of the race, yes, if they were unlimited would be another thing haha, we also have power-ups to use with the police, as force fields, invisibility, or shock force in case of a collision with a barrier to send the cars to fly haha.
On the other hand, with so many power-ups and so on, the races in the game at the beginning are somewhat difficult, both locally and online, when we are in the game and the city we can choose any race and we will launch different options, you can be "Multiplayer" or "Single Player", the single player option was the first I tried, in these races you are alone against a lot of bots, the issue is that these bots have cars that are better modified than yours and by logic is quite complicated to be in first position in these races, but it is not impossible.
On the other hand, the "Multiplayer" mode is different because we will enter a race with different users of the server, in the races you can participate up to 8 people, although today as the game is practically new and there are not many people connected on the servers, the more people enter I think the races will become much more interesting.
My experience with these races is not the best haha, because there is always a person who has a much better car than yours, besides he knows every corner of the map and his speed gives no respite from anything, so if you come wanting to win in online mode let me tell you that it is a long process haha, even with my best car I could not pass any of these beasts, I always stay in last place or if I'm lucky two positions higher than the last place haha.
On the other hand, let's go back to the car classes, as I said we started with Class "E" cars, I played a couple of races with the Dodge Charger but soon after I decided to change cars since this powerful muscle car did not give me pleasure to drive it, so I went for one of the best of the class "D" a Porsche Cayman S, I love this car, if we get to modify it to the maximum in the game can even be class "A".
However, I decided to invest in another car, one of the class "C" which is the next category that we can unlock, in this class I was looking forward to using the Corvette Stingray from the '60s, another muscle car in my garage, although I must admit that I was a little disappointed by its low efficiency in handling, in terms of top speed is very good, but in curves left much to be desired, so I did not use it for long.
After the "C" class comes the "B" class, in that category no car caught my attention, so I continued playing a couple of races to climb to level enough to unlock the "A" class at this point I could acquire the car I have today and is the Corvette Zr1 modified, with all its features we can get to "S1" class, I love this other Corvette, both its speed and handling are exciting, and with this car, I plan to use it for a while until I can buy a car of "S2" category or who knows maybe "X" category which is the highest available in the game.
Finally, if you are going to start playing this NFS game, I recommend two things, the first is experience and the other is money, to advance in the game you must level up and have money, this is achieved in two ways, do thousands of short races or play the super long races that cost you 40 minutes of your life in online mode, the good thing about these long races is that the reward is very worthwhile, I will not say it not to ruin the experience.
The bad thing is that you can't pause the race haha, so you better hope no one needs you at that time haha, jokes aside, beyond some bad things I noticed in the game like the inability of manual cars or that sometimes the server can be down due to connection drops, the reality is that this new attempt of NFS World or "NRZ Horizon" deserves a chance and in this last week I've been playing quite a lot haha.
