I used this title almost as inspiration from YouTube titles. I often click on content with a very similar structure, and maybe I used this technique here to get you to read my post... Today I would like to bring up a very important topic, which is about magic attack and its potential. And I'll say it right from the start: yes, this is the best type of attack in Splinterlands. But even though it's the best, there are a few things you should know about it. And at the end of this post, we'll have a battle to show you a little of that potential.
As many of you know, magic attack is one of the three types of attack in Splinterlands, the other two being melee and ranged attack. A monster may have no attack or even two types of attack. Especially in the most recent cards, many monsters with two types of attack are effective in certain situations. But today's goal is to talk specifically about magic attack monsters. After all, why is magic attack the best?
A monster with a magic attack can attack from any position without needing a specific ability to do so. Unlike ranged monsters, which usually only attack from the back row, or melee monsters, which usually only attack from the front row, except in cases where abilities allow them to attack from other positions, such as Sneak, Close Range, and Opportunity. So, a magic monster can attack from any position, and that's not its only advantage. Magic monsters can ignore shields and attack life directly, and they never miss their attacks. Of course, there are exceptions, such as monsters with specific defense skills against magic attacks or with skills such as Void Armor, but in most cases, this is a great advantage of magic monsters.
But then, why don't we just play with magic monsters, since they're so good? The quick answer is that the variety within Splinterlands also acts as a defense mechanism, as it would be very easy to neutralize a single type of attack if the opponent knew exactly what to expect.
Despite being very strong, magic attacks also have weaknesses. Perhaps the number of options is smaller compared to other types of attacks, and in addition, many magical monsters tend to be more fragile, although there are exceptions. Still, magical attacks are an excellent choice in matches with specific rules that limit certain types of attacks or when it is necessary to use more versatile monsters, such as in the Back to Basics rule, for example. In the end, know that this is a type of attack that should be used, and you should always have some magic monsters on your team.

Let's start with the conditions of this match, which I think are excellent for using magic monsters, since other abilities that allow rear line attacks are restricted. Fog of War is a rule that brings more advantages to the use of magic monsters, and for this reason, a good tank must be chosen, as you will see in the next topic. We have 47 mana and 3 elements available.
Well, ignore my opponent's incompetence, this battle was very easy to win, but the lesson here is how to structure and realize that magic monsters are indeed great choices. My tank is a monster that has protection against magic monsters, as does the monster in the second position.
As I mentioned, my second monster has defensive advantages, one of which is resistance to magical attacks. Why is it there? So that, if necessary, it can be a tank that will replace the first tank.
The rest of my monsters are mostly magic attackers, enhanced by the choice of summoner, which boosts attacks. Among these monsters, one has the ability to heal, which will be very important. My back line is very strong offensively, and when it comes to magic monsters, well, this is a veritable arsenal that will attack the opponents' health directly!
Well, as I mentioned, my opponent made some pretty bad choices. I believe it's either a bot or someone who is still learning, and I'm grateful for that, as I'm moving up in league and easy wins are always welcome.
But the point here is really to bring up a little bit of what magic attack represents and present an example of a configuration that can be used in your battles. Faced with so many possibilities, opting for a team that is more focused on offense, combined with a summoner capable of enhancing this strategy, is always a weapon that works very well, as it can be fast, efficient, and extremely deadly.

Usei esse título quase como uma inspiração dos títulos do YouTube. Muitas vezes eu clico em conteúdos com uma estrutura bem parecida, e talvez eu tenha usado essa técnica aqui para fazer você ler meu post... Hoje eu gostaria de trazer um assunto bem importante, que é sobre o ataque mágico e seu potencial. E já vou dizer logo de início: sim, este é o melhor tipo de ataque em Splinterlands. Mas, mesmo sendo o melhor, existem algumas coisas que você deveria saber sobre ele. E, no final deste post, teremos uma batalha para mostrar um pouco desse potencial.
Como muitos sabem, o ataque mágico é um dos três tipos de ataque em Splinterlands, sendo os outros dois o ataque melee e o ranged. Um monstro pode não ter nenhum ataque ou até possuir dois tipos de ataque. Principalmente nas cartas mais recentes, muitos monstros com dois tipos de ataque são eficientes em determinadas situações. Mas o objetivo de hoje é falar especificamente sobre os monstros de ataque mágico. Afinal, por que o ataque mágico é o melhor?
Um monstro com ataque mágico pode atacar de qualquer posição sem precisar de uma habilidade específica para isso acontecer. Diferente dos monstros ranged, que normalmente só atacam da linha de trás, ou dos monstros melee, que geralmente só atacam da primeira posição, salvo exceções em que habilidades permitem atacar de outras posições, como Sneak, Close Range e Opportunity. Então, um monstro mágico pode atacar de qualquer posição, e essa não é sua única vantagem. Monstros mágicos podem ignorar escudos e atacar a vida diretamente, além de não errarem seus ataques. Claro, existem exceções, como monstros com habilidades específicas de defesa contra ataque mágico ou com habilidades como Void Armor, mas, na maioria das vezes, essa é uma grande vantagem dos monstros mágicos.
Mas então, por que não jogamos apenas com monstros mágicos, já que eles são tão bons? Ainda assim, o ataque mágico é uma excelente escolha em partidas com regras específicas que limitam certos tipos de ataque ou quando é necessário utilizar monstros mais versáteis, como na regra Back to Basics, por exemplo. No fim, saiba que este é um tipo de ataque que deve ser utilizado, e você sempre deveria ter alguns monstros mágicos em seu time.

Bem, ignore a incompetência do meu adversário, essa batalha foi bem fácil de ganhar mas a lição aqui é em como estruturar e perceber que os monstros mágico são de fato ótimas escolhas. Meu tank é um monstro que possui proteção contra monstros mágicos assim como o monstro da segunda posição.
Como mencionei, meu monstro da segunda posição possui vantagens defensivas e um delas é a resistência contra ataques mágicos e porque ele está ali? para que se caso necessário, seja um tank que vai substituir o tank da primeira posição.
O restante dos meus monstros são em sua maioria de atque mágico, potencializados pela escolha do summoner, que potencializa ataques. Dentre esses monstros um que possui a habilidade de cura, que vai ser muito importante. Minha linha de trás está muito forte ofensivamente e se tratando de monstros mágicos, bem, esse é um verdadeiro arsenal que atacará a vida dos adversário diretamente!
Bem, como mencionei, meu adversário fez escolhas bem ruins. Acredito que seja um bot ou alguém que ainda está aprendendo, e eu agradeço por isso, pois estou subindo de liga e vitórias fáceis são sempre bem-vindas.
Mas a questão aqui é realmente trazer um pouco do que representa o ataque mágico e apresentar um exemplo de configuração que pode ser usada em suas batalhas. Diante de tantas possibilidades, optar por um time mais focado na ofensividade, aliado a um summoner capaz de potencializar essa estratégia, é sempre uma arma que funciona muito bem, podendo ser rápida, eficiente e extremamente mortal.
