Sadly I discovered this game about three days ago and not when I was in high school looking for games that did not bore me, that for sure I was going to entertain me enough, because I love this kind of games and seriously I searched, but never found one like Age of empire of pc, since the DS is all by turn and did not call me much attention, but well it is better late than never as you saw in the title I speak of Anno 1701, which surprised me a lot, let's go with the review.
The story of Anno is about a king who wants to explore the new world, but his time is over because he can not continue with this adventure because he is very advanced in age, but he delegates this mission before dying to his daughter Marybeth who promises to fulfill the dream of his father so he gathers three explorers, for the adventure, but that if Queen Marybeth, is not the only one with the mission to discover the new world, as we will have competition to Queen Eliza, who also wants to conquer the new world, so our goal is to achieve the dream of our father before she snatches it from us.
The gameplay of Anno 1701 is as if we played the AoE on a pc, but instead of the mouse we will use our stylus, with which we will move and place the necessary things to meet the objectives that we will place the game, which will be like improving our people or place some buildings, something very curious is that we will need certain buildings to make our people advance to the next era, these have a range and if some of these houses are not in the range of the building that specific house will not advance era, also during the story we will have to make alliances with the aborigines of the new world to conquer their island and exploit their resources, so to speak are like small missions to complete the main mission.

Another thing that I found interesting is that each building must be connected to a road or else it will not work, this is very similar to the Sim city game, in addition to this will also be the option to see if the citizens are more comfortable or not with our modifications to the town, something that I found quite useful was the counselor that is assigned to us as it gives us little helps to guide us and know what we should do, that yes it goes a little fast, but if we do not reach to read what he tells us we will also have the option to see what we missed and thus not be left in the air, we will also have the possibility to increase or decrease the taxes of our inhabitants , something curious with this is that if a house stayed at level one, we will charge a different tax than the others that if they are at a higher level.

The game surprised me quite a bit as I thought we would only have to take care of our colony and more nothing, but it is not so because we can even explore the sea when we build a gunner, so have ships also with these we can conquer other islands to have more resources, not only that but we can also create troops to protect our colonies or attack others, All thanks to some buildings called barracks where we will create soldiers automatically which we will be able to put in the buildings with green roofs so that they defend them, besides when they come to attack us some enemy buildings will be formed which will have a quantity of soldiers in specific, these we will have to destroy them by sending soldiers to that building until surpassing the number of soldiers that they have inside and thus to destroy them.

I found the design quite nice and simple, but quite colorful, I always liked the pixel style, there is an option in the game which is a magnifying glass with which you can zoom in and see structures or things in a little more detail.

In my opinion the game is quite complete in both design and gameplay and has quite a variety of things, it's chimbo that I discovered it at this time as I don't have my DS with me and playing it on it, it must feel different plus at that time I was looking for a game very similar to AoE as I had tried it on my pc and loved it, so I thought there must be one, but I didn't find it until today, I sure would have liked it quite a bit and be one of my favorite games.

Hola amigos de Hive hoy les hablare de un juego que algunos conocerán y otros no, como yo. Tristemente descubrí este juego como hace tres días y no cuando estaba en el liceo buscando juegos que no me aburrieran, que de seguro me iba a entretener bastante, ya que amo este tipo de juegos y en serio busqué, pero nunca encontré uno parecido a Age of empire de pc, ya que el de DS es todo por turno y no me llamo mucho la atención, pero bueno es mejor tarde que nunca como ya vieron en el titulo hablo del Anno 1701, el cual me sorprendió bastante, vamos con la reseña.
La historia de Anno trata de un rey que quiere explorar al nuevo mundo, pero su tiempo se ha terminado ya que no puede seguir con esta aventura porque esta muy avanzado de edad, pero le delega esta misión antes de morir a su hija Marybeth Quien le promete cumplir el sueño de su padre así que reúne a tres exploradores, para la aventura, pero eso si la Reina Marybeth, no es la única con la misión de descubrir el nuevo mundo, ya que tendremos de competencia a la Reina Eliza,quien también quiere conquistar el nuevo mundo, así que nuestro objetivo es lograr el sueño de nuestro padre antes que ella nos lo arrebate.
La jugabilidad de Anno 1701 es como si jugáramos el AoE en un pc, pero en vez del mouse usaremos nuestro lápiz táctil, con el cual nos desplazaremos y colocaremos las cosas necesarias para cumplir los objetivos que nos va colocando el juego, los cuales serán como mejorar nuestro pueblo o colocar algunos edificios, algo muy curioso es que necesitaremos ciertos edificios para hacer que nuestro pueblo avance a la siguiente era, estos tienen un rango y si algunas de estas casas no están en el rango del edificio esa casa en específico no avanzara de era, además durante la historia tendremos que hacer alianzas con los aborígenes del nuevo mundo para conquistar su isla y explotar sus recursos, por así decirlo son como pequeñas misiones para completar la misión principal.

Otra cosa que me pareció interesante es que cada edificio se debe conectar con una carretera o si no funcionara, esto es muy parecido al juego de Sim city, además de esto también estará la opción de ver si los ciudadanos están más cómodos o no con nuestras modificaciones al pueblo, algo que me pareció bastante útil fue el consejero que se nos asigna ya que nos da pequeñas ayudas para guiarnos y saber lo que debemos hacer, eso sí va un poco rápido, pero si no alcanzamos a leer lo que nos dice también tendremos la opción de ver lo que nos perdimos y así no quedar en el aire, también tendremos la posibilidad de aumentar o disminuir los impuestos de nuestros habitantes , algo curioso con esto es que si una casa se quedó en nivel uno, le vamos a cobrar un impuesto diferente que las otras que si están en un nivel mayor.

El juego me sorprendió bastante ya que pensaba que solo tendríamos que cuidar de nuestra colonia y más nada, pero no es así ya que podremos hasta el explorar el mar cuando construyamos un artillero, así tener barcos además que con estos podremos conquistar otras islas para así tener más recursos, no solo eso sino que también podremos crear tropas para proteger nuestras colonias o atacar a otras, todo gracias a unos edificios llamadas barracas donde crearemos soldados automáticamente los cuales podremos poner en los edificios con techos verdes para que los defiendan, además de cuando nos vengan atacar se formaran unos edificios enemigos los cuales tendrán una cantidad de soldados en específicos, estos los tendremos que destruir mandado soldados a esa edificación hasta superar el número de soldados que tienen adentro y así destruirlos.

El diseño me pareció bastante agradable y sencillo, pero bastante colorido, siempre me ha gustado el estilo de pixel, hay una opción del juego que es una lupa con la cual te puedes acercar y ver las estructuras o las cosas con un poco más de detalle.

En mi opinión el juego es bastante completo tanto en diseño como en el jugabilidad y tiene bastante variedad de cosas, es chimbo que lo haya descubierto en este tiempo ya que no tengo mi DS conmigo y jugarlo en él, se debe sentir diferente además que en ese tiempo buscaba un juego muy parecido al AoE ya que lo había probado en mi pc y me encanto, así que pensé que debía haber uno, pero no lo encontré hasta hoy, de seguro me hubiera gustado bastante y ser uno de mis juegos favoritos.

La saga Anno es una maravilla, yo la descubrí con el 1404 en PC y me tiré unas 80 horas, si te gusta la gestión esta saga es una verdadera Joya. No sabia que existió una versión en DS, igual que tu me fuera gustado conocerla mucho antes, seguramente fuera pasado varias horas en la DS construyendo mi pueblito jaja.
hay tantos juegos que no sabemos de su existencia que lo descubrimos mucho después como me paso con Anno no sabia que había versión para pc, construir pueblitos y gestionarlos es lo mejor jajajaj, Gracias por tu comentario y leer mi post <3
