It's another great day to share our own experience in Splinterlands, wherein that journey is quite a rocky road as there are ups and downs along the way. But whatever it may be, I would say that it is all good no matter what would be the outcome. Experiencing a game is really good as long as you put your dedication into it and passion towards learning the game mechanics and strategies while adapting the things that need to be done in order to take advantage of any opponent in the game.

What I really like about the game is that it evolves really much in terms of how the games are played and that there are so many ideas coming from the creators as well as some ideas contributed by the community that make that happen. It is surely a big boost to a game in which the ideas are not just coming from the game developers instead, some recommendations and creativity of some community members are being listened to and possibly applied into the game. In which the game is not just built into a single community but also with the help of the community members which makes the game run for quite a long time now and stay strong.

Despite the issues encountered by the team, the game still continues to improve in terms of its artwork and creativity which it is totally supported by the community until such time it comes into happen. From what I have observed, the game continues to get harder and harder because there are no idle mechanics in the game. It continues to improve in every update or expansion set which gives more excitement to the players and community members as well.

Now with their Rebellion expansion set, it will get more attention from many players and collectors since they have introduced a new way of importance in holding cards and packs. You will be entitled to airdrops whenever you hold packs and cards depending on what you have owned. I am sure that these airdrops are quite rewarding, which can be a big boost to your current card assets you have the option to either resell them or just upgrade them depending on what your needs. Anyway, I too am looking forward to what this kind of update is all about and if these really satisfy the importance of keeping such cards and packs. I am hoping that the values of these airdrops will be worth it both the value in the market and the function of those cards.

Introduction to Splinterlands

In my own understanding of Splinterlands, it is a battle of Summoners of five elements of magic which are fire, water, earth, death, and life. Aside from these elements, an additional dragon element has the option to use dragon monsters plus an element of your selection. In this battle mages are looking for supremacy against the other for the glory and power that they may obtain ahead.

Once you have selected your preferred Summoner, you will now then the option to use that monster under that element. Each of those monsters is equipped with individual skills and abilities that can be really useful to your advantage on the battlefield if you use them correctly. These monsters have different attack types which are magic, ranged, and melee that individually can be really useful if you combine them wisely. You just always think about the ability of your chosen Summoner and a monster that you will be selecting which its a big plus if you create a combo that could be lethal to your opponent whenever you engage them on the battlefield.

Aside from the usual game, they added a lore story which can be really exciting to read as it gives life to the characters and monsters involved in the Splinterland universe. It also gives interest to players and community members to both play the game and support what the Splinterlands game can give.

In Splinterlands, we should not worry about acquiring cards as you will be given a deck of cards once you have purchased a spellbook. This spellbook gives you the option to start earning tokens and potential assets inside the game. It may be really difficult for sure as a starter but I tell you that once you have fully understood the concept of the game, I am sure that you will gain interest and start to gain something at the same time.

Once you have the chance to buy cards, you have the option to select those powerful cards within the market or choose those cheap cards for them to increase your card inventory. Anyway, you just need to grind into the game while participating in some contests and giveaways from community members so that you will earn free cards and possibly tokens which can be really useful in the future.

These cards, do have a rarity of common, rare, epic, and legendary which do have their different monetary value. And if you have a chance to get a golden card aside from the regular kind of card, I am sure that you will get enough value to get more card packs if you sell them in the secondary market.

If you are just a beginner to the game, I would recommend just accumulating cards and trying to sell those expensive cards to the market so that you could get a big value for them and buy them for more packs. That way it could boost your cards in the inventory so that you could widen your selection against your opponent in battle.

Try to master the game and be better with the Splinterlands game so that you will experience how awesome the opportunity to be one of the players in this wonderful game.

Getting Started

To get started in the game, you will purchase a spellbook which will then give you the opportunity to join the battle of Summoners. You will be given a limited number of basic cards that you can use in the battle and cannot be sold in the market. These cards are only lent to you by the game and you have not officially owned them. But this set of cards can help you start to gain experience in the game and start your journey to mastering the game.

As you play the game, you will get daily rewards and seasonal rewards which can give you benefits as a player. But still, these rewards depend on what type of rank are you, whether you will end in bronze, silver, gold, diamond, or champion. You just need to grind your way up and think always of the rewards you can get once you have obtained your target rank.

If you will get a chance to acquire cards both from rewards and purchased from the market through packs. Try to join tournaments and try to test your luck for it will give you awesome boosts of rewards if you manage to overcome all the trials and battles that you will encounter a long the way.

Strategy Tips for Beginners

What I could recommend to beginners, is that they need to study the basics of the game and master them all. Try to understand things about attack types, abilities, skills, rulesets, and some others that would greatly affect the game. If you have time, try to watch games from other players through YouTube to get more insights and explanations about the game.

With those stepping stones, I am sure that you will master the game in a very short span of time. Do not be discouraged if you have more losses than winning in the game as it will count as an experience and that you may learn something out of it. Try to replay those battles and check which you have mistaken and think of a way to correct them. With this kind of strategy, I am sure that you will gain more and more tactics as you play the game.

And with that experience that you will be getting in every battle, I am sure that you will be a hardened player. Which surely you will acquire greater rewards in the future.

Community Welcome

As time goes by the game still stands with the continuous support of players and community members aside from game owners. With this, we know that the game has a strong potential in the future and that I know that there is still more this game can give to all that supports it.

That is why, as a player of the game, I spread the news to social media such as Twitter so that it will get attention to those gamers who don't know about this game. I know that it can definitely compete with other game games as it is becoming popular with many gamers while it is built under blockchain. With such free will to do what you like with your cards and packs, I am sure other gamers take their chance to know the game and potentially be a part of the game in the future.

There are still many gamers who potentially don't know the game and it is our duty to spread the word so that they too will experience how much fun they will get in playing the game while acquiring owned cards as their owned assets, in which they can freely sell them in the market for monetary value.

Share Your Early Experience

At the time I started playing Splinterlands, it was quite difficult as you need to learn the mechanics on your own understanding because there is no walkthrough or something. Unlike today, you will have a couple of guides right now which can be really helpful to new players. I would say, that players today have the advantage of learning the game fast if they take their time to research deeply about the game, and becoming an expert in the game will be never too hard.

I just remember when I first played Splinterlands, I was having difficulty choosing what kind of Summoner and units but still lucky to win the game. What I was mistaken about is that I did not understand well about Summoner, attack type, abilities, and all before playing the game. Now, I would recommend that you need to master all the basics first before playing the game so that you will not waste your time and energy playing the game. And you will have the potential to rank up fast to get more big rewards in both daily and seasonal.
