Telegram's Notcoin clicker game appears to be a gateway to free cryptocurrency. However, the meme coin is not yet real—though an airdrop may be on the way.

Notcoin is a meme coin that is currently just an idea. It may be minted on the TON blockchain in the near future, but for the time being, the project is more of an internet marketing scheme than a legitimate cryptocurrency. Notcoin is not currently "mined," so calling the Notcoin button-clicker app on Telegram a "mining game" is technically incorrect.
"No one knows if or when Notcoin will be minted. Nobody knows if it will be worth anything or not," reads an automated Telegram message when learning how to play the Notcoin "game."
While more than 1.2 trillion Notcoins have already been "collected" through what the TON Foundation refers to as a "Telegram mini app," according to a statement, the meme coin does not yet exist, so there is no price and players cannot cash out.
