All this time, I saved peoples from the Templars being an Assassin but now I had to save a Templar from the Assassins. The main objective of this mission was rescuing Christopher Gist form being hanged and I had to prevent his hanging by shooting the rope and blow up three barrels with firecrackers to get 100% memory sync.
Before going for the mission, I assassinated some Templars around and suddenly I noticed this manor that looked so rich that I couldn't help but stopping there and check this place out,
Then I noticed this synchronization point there that was a lot high. A kid came over at that moment when I climbed on top of the tower and I was showing him off how I jump from these high points, lol.
I had to go to the family that helped me survive to start the mission where I noticed both the man and woman of the family were excited to hear what happened and they heard it from Colonel Monro who was also there.
Monro asked for my help to get one of his friends out of trouble who discovered a nest of criminals developing strange weapons. Monro said he has urgent business in Albany and asked Shay to tell Gist to find Monro there.
Now I got the stopwatch timeline that I had to follow to save Gist or he'd get hanged so I started running fast and I noticed the bridge goes towards the place where Gist was held captive was guarded by some assassin guards and some Templars were arguing with them.
I found an alternative way and I went inside to save Gist where I was trying to complete the optional objectives so I was trying to avoid the enemies there but they had guns and they kept shooting me where I failed the mission 2/3 times.
Then I decided to take down the enemies first following the optional objectives but I lost the firecrackers bullet trying to shoot them so I could only blow up two barrels with the firecrackers.
And I noticed Gist get hanged when I started the fight and I shot the rope as fast as I could and I saved him.
Gist started praising my action there and Shay was mentioning he needed a new place to live watching over this place. Gist suggested him not to put his name on the door yet as there may be a few men left on their ship.
Then Shay noticed its his Morrigan so he decided to fetch the ship back from those louts where Gist offered to help. Gist told me the criminals were everywhere and most of them look just like law-abiding citizens.
Then we noticed a lady assassin hiding there though I thought she was going to the washroom, lol. Making sounds around would make them come out and fight me so I shot a firecracker vessel near that hiding zone and the lady came out.
I had to kill the stalker, all the stalkers that I noticed later as I thought that's the only lady I had to take care of. Then I had to cut down the Morrigan's old flag, the assassin flag.
After taking down some of them, I went for cutting the flag down but when I climbed on top, Shay was not cutting it down no matter how hard I was trying. So I started looking around to see what I was not noticing.
Seeing the British flag on the other side of the ship, I thought maybe that's the flag I needed to cut down so I went there but it Shay was not cutting it down as well and I noticed the map was showing the other flag.
I climbed down and I found more stalkers around so I killed them first and then I retried and this time Shay cut down the flag and reclaimed the ship.
Gist came over along with some men as he promised me he'd find me a new crew and Gist applied to be Shay's first mate on the ship mentioning he left that post unfilled.
Th mission was completed there with 90% memory sync showing I failed to blow up three barrels with firecrackers though I noticed it fulfilled at some points. Maybe I didn't fulfill it after some desynchronizations.

The costume of this character is very cool, I love the medieval pirate touch with the black color he has, if he had a hood he would look like a real assassin.
I loved how you described the twists and challenges of the mission. Gist as a first mate is such a solid addition to the crew. Great job reclaiming the ship.
