Thanks for the wonderfully written post. One thing I've noticed throughout all the replies and posts in response to this contest is that people of all different ages have expressed the same feeling of joy and wonder that their first video game experiences brought to them, regardless of the era of the platform or the technical wizardry of the game itself. You needn't have played the same game or used the same system to understand the shared feeling of triumph you get solve a difficult puzzle or beat a difficult boss or pass a difficult level that has been stumping you.
