Hi guys and welcome to another lovely day, today we will be looking into ChainZ Arena, a Blockchain-based game currently making waves in this space.

Blockchain-based games have seen series of developments from the earliest days of Crypto Kitties to gods unchained and now to mobile and PC supported, this industry is persistence and with the current pace, I am sure 2 years from now, Blockchain-based game might just have the chance to contest with centralized games like Warframe, Warface, and others.

While the adoption continues, the blockchain game industry has created different types of incentives to assist gamers one way or the other by giving back to the community a certain percentage of money earned while using the rest for continuous game development.

This as overtime created a certain form of expectations whenever a new game arises in this space and also a mindset that early users are more profitable when compared to those who join later on.

On today's Blockchain-based games, we shall be looking into ChainZ Arena and my experience so far playing as a free to play user.

Free to play and pay to win these are terms mostly used in gaming and not restricted to Blockchain-based games, pay to win does not generally means you have to pay in other to have access to a particular game but rather the feature to buy in-game items which give you higher chance to upgrade faster compared to others. Although, blockchain games differ a little as they implemented certain features that do not guarantee that a pay to play user will advance faster.

This feature as to do with luck, while users can purchase items that enable them to level up fast, these items are not 100% guaranteed to be the best, rather a selection is put in place with probability differences in getting something good and this is what ChainZ Arena have in place.

Chainz Arena is an idle RPG mobile/pc supported Blockchain-based game where users battle against different hostiles in PVE settings or against other players in a PVP setting.

Arena ranges across different maps with each becoming stronger as you climb up the ladder.

ChainZ Arena was launched with different incentives and competition which challenges players to come back day after day and try level up.

While these competitions are free to participate, certain requires you to spend a little if you wish to advance faster and so far am yet to dive into it but seriously considering to anytime from now.

Free to play comes with its pecks and also limitations, unlike players who wish to spend a little, free to play players have to come online more frequently if they wish to keep up with these users and most cases they still find themselves far behind unless lady luck shines on them.

This can also be changed when you follow certain patterns but not easily achievable, before the launch, they held certain alpha gameplay which allowed players to test the features ChainZ Arena had to offer and one specific feature I found very useful was character class.

ChainZ Arena is divided into various classes, fire, wood, wind, and others.

When a player uses all champions from a particular class, they unlock an extra buff which gives them more damage, resistance, or health depending on the class of their selection. Achieving this is easy but the hard part is getting strong players who fit into this selection from just a particular class.

So far, I wouldn't count myself unlucky but am yet to get all characters from a particular class but rather am left to use different classes that go against what I initially planned xD.

My initial plan was to stick with the fire class as they offered extra attack and resistance buff when played as a whole.

But things don't always go the way you planned and you are left to make use with whatever becomes available.

With a build of different classes, my average power as at now is about 16k and I am able to clear chapters up to 6, with time I hope to clear more and probably meet the incentive put in place when you clear chapter 24.

As a free to play user, one of the ways I found helpful was leaving the game idle for a long period of time which allowed my character to claim different items and if lucky, some times I get good items capable of boosting my characters from their previous level to the next and also some free scrolls.

ChainZ Arena requires one to be patient when playing and also strategic thinking when battling different map bosses, certain arrangements don't work for all boss and this requires you to adjust your play style.

In all, the game is absolutely fun to play and a good recommendation for anyone willing to try out Blockchain-based games, next time I will share tips and more information about the workings of this game.

Meanwhile you can log into ChainZ Arena via TokenPocket wallet.
