You are absolutely right. Bios updates are one of the most deadly processes that can exist for computers. To do this process you have to be 100% sure that the update is the correct one because if not, you leave the computer in a vegetable state.
My process required 2 updates, I had a lot of fear in the process but everything went well. The EuroTruck Simulator 2 that I had in my Steam Library now I could play it, I am very happy about that.
