Hello, gamers. I hope you are doing well.
Rocket League is now more than 10 years old; the special 10th Anniversary season ended a couple of weeks ago, and we are now in the 20th Season. I played a lot of RL in the last season, reaching about 230 Rocket Pass Tier, which is one of my highest so far. Although I have been playing it frequently, I haven't discussed it here in a long time.
The last time I shared a screenshot of my Steam library page for the game, I had 2078 Hours of playtime, and now I have more than 2250 Hours. 170+ hours more since the last post. I thought I was getting bored with it, but nope, this is one of those games that I can play anytime. It is a comfort game for me. Even though I play it ranked all the time, I play like a casual game. It is much more fun that way.
I want to share some of the funny moments that have happened over the past couple of weeks in this game. I don't record them, just saved a few games, and these were found from the saved replays. I should be saying more replays.
Rule 1
Anyways, have you heard about Rule1?
It is one of the unwritten rules of the game, and all the experienced players know about it and respect it. Breaking this rule is met with huge criticism from the community. The rule is that if two cars are stuck nose to nose, such that both are trying to go forward but can't because the other car is blocking them. You must keep pressing forward and not reverse or break the rule.
I broke Rule 1 here; I shouldn't have done it. Even though the ball was going straight to my goal post. But in a moment of weakness, I broke the rule and tried an insane save. It was one of the closest saves I've ever made. Let me show you how close it was from a different angle.
I don't know why it is called Rule 1 because there is no other rule with numbers. But if the above one was Rule 1, can this next one be called Rule 0?
Rule 0?
LOL, I bumped that guy so much that at the end, he gave up and stopped moving. Both of us stopped in that position, and we respected this weird rule. I will call this Rule 0 from now on.
I am not done with these rules. During my games, I had another interesting position with an opponent. This one is like rule 1, with the only change that the cars are moving and attached to the sides. I am naming it Rule Bro!
Rule Bro?
I didn't expect it to go this long. Our bond was strong and it lasted for a long time. But like every good thing, it had to end. We both went into the air, and it is very difficult to maintain this position while in the air. Respect to my opponent for trying to go back in the same position after landing. But I landed awkwardly, and the match soon ended.
These little things are what make this game fun for me.
Rocket Pass!
This season's Rocket Pass is not that good. The last season had some really nice items, but now we are back to the basic goal of explosions and other items. I bought the Rocket Pass this season as well. I can buy it every season, the credits I use to buy the pass can be earned back, so I buy the pass each season easily without spending any money.
There are a couple of goal explosions that I like the most from this season's pass. One of them is the Sonic Rings.
We also have a big car body after a long time. There is a new Van you can play with. I already saw a couple of guys use this horrible van body in Ranked games. They must be testing it because with that body, it is so hard to do any basic mechanics.
My Stats!
Time to show my overall stats. I have played exactly 12,253 games with a win percentage of 53.4%. In these 12K+ matches, I got exactly 6,549 wins and almost half of those as MVP, which makes sense as I play a lot more 2v2. The MVP ratio would have been worse if I had played more Standard (3v3) matches. Averaging 1.7 goals per game is not bad at all. It is tough to maintain as we go higher up the ranks. 2242 XP level is a lot as well. They stopped giving player titles based on XP levels. The last one I received was "Rocket Demigod" after crossing 1000 XP levels. They should introduce one more in 2000 XP.

- You played well, but your teammate sucks!
- You didn't lose, the server was laggy!
- Only if you had a better monitor and graphics card!
- Your little brother was playing the match!
- They were Smurfing!
- You didn't sleep for two days straight!
- And the most important one: They were hacking!
- Your mom called you in the middle of the game!
- Your girlfriend was texting you during the game!
- You were getting death threats from your lender!
- Gaming Gods were angry at you!
- You were too distracted in managing your live stream!
