As mentioned in my last post I was thinking of making some map and loot guides for Lost Light. I decided to go for it and here's the first of four videos. Starting out with the BAF Factory!
As always I'll be dropping votes for people in the comments who either subscribe to my channel, like my videos on YouTube, comment on them or all three. Just let me know in the comments to this post if you did any of those!
Behind the scenes
I was quite hesitant to start this video because it felt like it would be quite a daunting task. Turns out it wasn't so bad at all and I quickly found a system to quickly take me through and learn about each area. I used the Custom Lobby mode that I mentioned in my last post which let me go into each map all on my lonesome. This was I didn't have to be bothered my other players as I just wanted to look through and record each of the maps locations.
The video has been live for 6 days now and it's been doing pretty well. It rather quickly turned into my best performing video which was quite surprising to me. Currently it's sitting at close to 1400 views which I'm more than satisfied with after only 6 days. In that time the video has also gained me 10 new subscribers which is awesome.

I've really had quite the boom in subscribers lately so my theory of exponential growth is really checking out. In the period since this video went live I've gained 85 new subscribers. This basically means that I have several videos that are performing well and are pulling in both views and subscribers. This game has really done wonders for my channel.

At some point I will start to run out of Lost Light content to make though. I still have a few videos planned which should last me a while but I'm going to start transitioning into other types of content about other games slowly. I'm thinking that if every second video I publish is about Lost Light and the other something else I won't be seeing a as big of a drop off in subscribers as if I had just gone cold turkey. The PlayStation release for Century: Age of Ashes is also right around the corner so I will of course be focusing on that as well.
One of the games I'm definitely checking out is Warlander which was recommended to me by @daltono. This looks like a great free-to-play castle siege game. I'm looking forward to playing it. I did kind of forget about the release that was two days ago so I hope I won't be to late into the scene when I get the video out in around a week. I probably should have published a video about this today instead of Shatterline but I simply forgot. Rookie mistakes!

I'm also inching ever closer to getting my content monetized. I've passed the 1/3rd mark already and I'm getting close to the halfway line. My growth is speeding up though and if it continues at this rate I should be there by the end of November. Let's hope it won't slow down!

Enjoy the video and don't forget to like the video and subscribe to my channel. It would help me out a lot on this journey!

I'm glad you already accomplished 1/3 achievements to monetize your content, congratulations for that bro, really your videos are very well worked, I'm happy for you, I also dream of the same, in fact, I know it's what I'm missing for that xd
About the game, even though the map is the smallest, there are still times when I get confused and lost haha, also, WTF? you practically walked on the wall haha, I didn't know I could do that 😂.
You're doing great, buddy! It would be great if you start making money by the end of November. You uploaded your first video on July 11th and if you really start making money in such a short time you will be super successful. Like I said, I enjoy watching every video on your channel and I hope everything goes well man!
I appreciate your continued support! I basically know that every time I publish a video a comment from Incubus is right around the corner. We'll see how my growth continues. 10 new subscribers since I published this post yesterday, even though I lost 2 after publishing this :P
I don't think my support will be permanent. Soon I will start posting comments like "first comment!" lol.
I think these outgoing subscribers basically subscribe for one game and then unsubscribe when you post another video from that game. Your views are pretty good though. As I'm sure you've noticed, the last 5 videos you've posted have all passed a certain number of views. This shows that your channel has now reached a consistent audience.
Nice pump in veiwers! 😉🤛
in and out in 5 minutes
Faithful viewer, commenter and liker. Thanks man!
In glad you’re making awesome videos like this one bro.
Warlander looks cool and I also saw a trailer for another new game that looks similar called Warhaven. Not sure if it will be free to play, but I know there is a PC Exclusive beta you can sign up for.
Damn this looks sick! I'm definitely adding this to my watch list.
And this my friends is the result of being super methodical and statistical, already so fast the channel is going to reach the goals to monetise the videos :O
I'm really happy about the success of your channel, my friend, your hard work is rewarding :)
Cheers.
Cheers Paul! It's fun doing this. It's become my favorite new hobby in a very short time.
This game looks great, I'm not so good at aiming games but I'm trying to improve my aim by training hehe.
Practice makes perfect! Shooting games are fun but my lack of skill often makes me rage.
I've been adding my videos to playlists from the start. Keeping everything tidy and organised. Thanks mate!
I was already subscribed to your channel for some time brother, so I commented and gave a good Like, I was really waiting for you to share with us your video of how you got this treasure, I really notice how much it cost you, I really like how you are doing your videos now, you are much more confident than before, good video brother, greetings.
Cheers! I appreciate the support mate.
Good tips on Loot, although I prefer to pack any weapons and go shoot my enemies and get their loot, it's kind of risky but fun.
Yeah that works to! That's how I like to play on the Mt. Akiyama map. I always bring my sniper there.
