Dark Souls 3, the boss I hate the most and was the hardest for me. // Dark Souls 3, el jefe que más odio y fue más difícil para mí. (ENG/ESP)

➤ It's been a long time since I talked about Dark Souls 3, don't think I forgot about this beautiful game, and currently my favorite game of the Dark Souls saga, although I haven't tried the second game and I don't plan to do it either hehe. Remembering what I'm going to talk about today brings me depression because I was I think 2 or 3 whole days trying to kill the same boss and it almost took me to my limit, I was already thinking about uninstalling the game, and is that Dark Souls 3 really has many challenges in between. And this for me was the biggest of them.

➤ In the previous post I did I showed you how I got to this beautiful city under the moon that I never want to see again in my blessed life because it is horrible and full of nasty enemies that I love and hate at the same time because they killed me so many times that I was already tired of my existence. I think my only reason for not going back to complete Dark Souls 3 is knowing that I have to go back to this place. Aside from it being a super large yet confusing area, I was over 1 hour completely lost not knowing where the hell I had to go, I had made it to the last of a city and all the doors were locked and there was no way to do anything, as usual Dark Souls forced me to have to search the internet for where I had to go. It's just too strange, I was in the city and out of nowhere I found a cave that took me to a mountain and that mountain to another cave that took me underground but I knew I didn't have to go that way and so on and so forth I was getting lost again and again.

➤ When I finally knew where to go it hit me straight into nostalgia, reminding me of Dark Souls 1 when I saw that beautiful black knight standing there, I knew it was going to be a legendary fight.... Although he killed me 3 times in a row but it was still legendary, besides my surprise was even better. When after killing that knight and some others that were around, I found in a chest the hammer of my dear friend Snorlax... I mean, Smough, the legendary hammer of Smough in Dark Souls 3, simply epic, although to use it asks for more features than a last generation game, almost to be level 100 to use it comfortably because of its weight and the amount of strength you need to have to use it.

➤ But now, let's get to the good stuff, after a thousand years exploring and discovering shortcuts, I had to face the most disgusting boss of the whole game. THE FUCKING PONTIFICE SULYVANTH, my god it makes me angry just thinking about it, believe me I hated this boss with all my soul, I think he easily killed me more than 70 times and it still wouldn't be enough. It is an extremely complicated boss due to its speed and apart from having an abysmal amount of life. He attacks you with two swords at the same time and I swear that his attacks are so fast that sometimes he doesn't even give you time to react, he even has a sequence of 6 attacks in a row that if we don't dodge it, get ready because we will receive those 6 hits without stopping and die instantly. I don't know what they gave this guy to eat, but he is a sonic mixed with Flash. His attacks were too powerful and if I dodged badly he could kill me excessively fast.

➤ Of course don't think that's all, he also has a brutal special ability that if he doesn't hit them he practically knocks us down 90% of our lives. It's too horrible, seriously. To face this boss I spent a thousand years trying to switch between armors, changing my tactics, the way I attacked, I even tried to use fire bombs to kill him out of desperation. I was even thinking about using bows. The only thing I didn't do was try to farm levels to kill him, since that wouldn't make much of a difference and I didn't die because I was low level. I just know that this boss is horrible and I hate it, believe me it is excessively fast and we have to have 100% reflexes.

➤ I could no longer find any possible way to kill this bastard, be it using a shield, the most powerful armor, the most powerful weapon. Everything was just horrible and the only time I was close to kill him or at least lower his life I was in depression when suddenly the bastard entered a second phase where he created a clone WITH A LOT OF LIFE AND THAT DOES EXACTLY THE SAME ATTACKS AS HIM. MY GOD THAT WAS HORRIBLE. THE WORST PART IS THAT I WAS ONE HIT AWAY FROM KILLING HIM, JUST ONE BLESSED HIT. Imagine his unbelievably fast attacks and his non-stop barrage of 6 hits but now being two of them. God... When I died in that attempt I didn't open the game until the next day.

➤ I was already tired, exhausted, I just couldn't take it anymore, then I remembered that I had the embers, which are something like the humanities of Dark Souls 1, they will increase our maximum life and will also allow us to see the summoning signs of npc's and online players, I DID NOT HESITATE EVEN ONE FUCKING SECOND TO SUMMON AN NPC. AND MY GOD YOU DON'T KNOW THE FUCKING HAPPINESS I FELT WHEN I MANAGED TO KILL HIM, IT WAS THE BEST SATISFACTION I HAD EVER FELT IN ALL MY LIFE, I HAD NEVER FELT SO HAPPY. I felt like the most powerful person in the fucking world and I felt like I had won a billion dollars when I saw that bastard fall and knew that I would never have to meet him again in my life. I thank you for everything in life Gotthard, it was the NPC that helped me. This is what I love most about this kind of games, the satisfaction and happiness you feel when you overcome something you were stuck with. And personally, Pontifice Sulyvanth seems to me the most difficult boss in Dark Souls 3 (not counting the DLC).

➤ Dark Souls for me is definitely a mix of emotions, between anger, sadness, happiness and satisfaction, and killing this boss was the best thing that ever happened to me. That's all for now, thank you very much for reading, see you in the next post!

➤ Hace mucho tiempo que no hablaba de Dark Souls 3, no crean que me olvidé de este hermoso juego, y actualmente mi juego favorito de la saga de Dark Souls, aunque no he probado el segundo juego y tampoco planeo hacerlo hehe. Recordar de lo que voy a hablar hoy me trae depresión porque estuve creo que 2 o 3 días enteros intentando matar al mismo jefe y es que casi me llevó hasta mi límite, ya estaba pensando hasta en deinstalar el juego, y es que de verdad que Dark Souls 3 tiene muchos retos de por medio. Y este para mí fue el más grande de ellos.

➤ En el anterior post que hice les mostré como llegué a esta hermosa ciudad bajo la luna que no quiero volver a ver en mi bendita vida porque es horrible y está llena de enemigos asquerosos que amo y a la vez odio porque me mataron tantas veces que ya estaba cansado de mi existencia. Creo que mi único motivo para no volver a completar Dark Souls 3 es saber que tengo que volver a este lugar. Aparte de que es una zona súper grande y a la vez confusa, estuve más de 1 hora completamente perdido sin saber a dónde demonios tenía que ir, había llegado hasta lo último de una ciudad y todas las puertas estaban bloqueadas y no había forma de hacer algo, como siempre Dark Souls me obligó a tener que buscar en internet a donde tenía que ir. Es que es demasiado extraño, estaba en la ciudad y de la nada encontraba una cueva que me llevaba a una montaña y esa montaña a otra cueva que me llevaba bajo tierra pero sabía que no tenía que ir por ahí y así sucesivamente iba perdiéndome una y otra vez.

➤ Cuando al fin supe dónde ir me dió un golpe directo hacia la nostalgia, recordándome a Dark Souls 1 cuando vi a ese hermoso caballero negro allí parado, sabía que iba a ser un combate legendario... Aunque me mató 3 veces seguidas pero igual fue legendario, aparte mi sorpresa era aún mejor. Cuando luego de matar a ese caballero y a otros que habían por ahí fastidiando porque no tienen vida social, en un cofré me encontré el martillo de mi querido amigo Snorlax... Digo, Smough, el legendario martillo de Smough en Dark Souls 3, simplemente épico, aunque para usarlo pide más características que un juego de última generación, casi que ser nivel 100 para usarlo cómodamente por su peso y la cantidad de fuerza que necesitas tener para usarlo.

➤ Pero ahora sí, vamos a lo bueno, luego de mil años explorando y descubriendo atajos tocaba enfrentarme al jefe más asqueroso de todo el juego. EL JODIDO PONTIFICE SULYVANTH, dios mio me da rabia solo pensarlo, creanme que odié a este jefe con toda mi alma, creo que fácilmente me llegó a matar más de 70 veces y todavía sería poco. Es un jefe extremadamente complicado debido a su rápidez y aparte de tener una cantidad de vida abismal. Te ataca con dos espadas al mismo tiempo y les juro que sus ataques son tan rápidos que a veces ni tiempo de reaccionar te da, incluso tiene una secuencia de 6 ataques seguidos que si no la esquivamos preparense porque vamos a recibir esos 6 golpes sin parar y morir instantaneamente. No sé qué le dieron a este tipo de comer, pero es un sonic mezclado con Flash. Sus ataques eran demasiado potentes y si esquivaba mal podía matarme excesivamente rápido.

➤ Por supuesto no crean que eso es todo, también tiene una habilidad especial brutal que si no las llega a impactar prácticamente nos baja un 90% de la vida. Es demasiado horrible, en serio. Para enfrentar a este jefe estuve mil años intentando cambiar entre armaduras, cambiando mis tácticas, la forma en que atacaba, hasta intenté usar las bombas de fuego para matarlo de tanta desesperación. Ya hasta estaba pensando en usar arcos. Lo único que no hice fue intentar farmear niveles para matarlo, ya que igualmente eso no haría mucho cambio y no moría por culpa de ser nivel bajo. Solo sé que este jefe es horrible y lo odio, creanme que es excesivamente rápido y tenemos que tener los reflejos al 100%.

➤ Yo no encontraba ya ninguna forma posible de matar a este desgraciado, sea usando escudo, la armadura más potente, el arma más potente. Todo simplemente era horrible y la única vez que estuve cerca de matarlo o al menos bajarle vida quedé en depresión cuando de repente el desgraciado entró en una segunda fase donde creó un clón CON UN MONTÓN DE VIDA Y QUE HACE EXACTAMENTE LOS MISMOS ATAQUES QUE ÉL. DIOS MIO ESO FUE HORRIBLE. LO PEOR ES QUE ESTUVE A UN GOLPE DE MATARLO, UN SOLO BENDITO GOLPE. Imaginense sus ataques increíblemente rápidos y su oleada de 6 golpes sin parar pero ahora siendo dos de ellos. Dios... Cuando morí en ese intento no abrí el juego hasta el día siguiente.

➤ Ya estaba cansado, agotado, simplemente no podía más, luego recordé que tenía las ascuas, que son algo así como las humanidades de Dark Souls 1, nos aumentaran la vida máxima y también nos permitirá ver las señales de invocación de npc's y jugadores en linea, NO LO DUDÉ NI UN MALDITO SEGUNDO EN INVOCAR A UN NPC. Y DIOS MIO NO SABEN LA PUTA FELICIDAD QUE SENTÍ CUANDO LOGRÉ MATARLO, FUE LA MEJOR SATISFACCIÓN QUE HABÍA SENTIDO EN TODA MI VIDA, NUNCA ME HABÍA SENTIDO TAN FELIZ. Me sentí la persona más poderosa del maldito mundo y sentí que había ganado mil millones de dólares cuando vi a ese desgraciado caer y saber que no tendría que encontrarmelo más nunca en la vida. Te agradezco todo en la vida Gotthard, fue el NPC que me ayudó. Esto es lo que más me encanta de este tipo de juegos, la satisfacción y felicidad que sientes cuando superas algo con lo que te habías estancado. Y personalmente, Pontifice Sulyvanth me parece el jefe más difícil de Dark Souls 3 (sin contar los DLC).

➤ Dark Souls para mí es sin duda una mezcla de emociones, entre rabia, tristeza, felicidad y satisfacción, y matar a este jefe fue lo mejor que me pasó en la vida. Esto es todo por ahora, muchas gracias por haber leído, ¡nos vemos en el próximo post!
