Game night sounds like fun XD
I'm currently trying to organise a backup game as for two weeks in a row since we were meant to start one of our players hasn't been able to make it
Did you just have the not enough time excuse for not doing gatherings? With our gatherings it's usually been "not enough time" or "too tired" on the parts of us and one of the other families (the family who usually hosts do a lot less activities so they say they can do whenever and it's up to the rest of us).
Is it an RPG?

A whole host of things. Since the stroke, I am also far less socially motivated. I have almost zero "practical motivation" for anything at all. I want to do things, but I don't want to do them...It is weird.
I feel like every other family around manages far better than we do :/

Also we're nowhere near snow or mountains, they're currently in Oxford, England (with one of the players who has actually been somewhere in the vicinity helping out with where things are and what things look like on occasion XD) in a mostly flat very slightly wooded park with a river running through it in the middle of combat x_x Otherwise the character would have just gone home and stayed there while everyone else carried on with the adventure.
Do you want to have done them?
That's a mood. I think everyone feels that way at least sometimes. Some more than others x_x
