Comenzamos el juego y conocemos al protagonista del juego, que es Vito, un mafioso de origen siciliano, y que nos cuenta su historia desde sus inicios, en donde llega a estados unidos, en donde podemos ver que el trato a los que emigraban al tan hablado sueño americano eran tratados de forma bastante mala, por lo que vito nos cuenta que su padre los llevó a un piso en un suburbio de estados unidos, y en donde su padre estaría trabajando en un muelle de carga, descargando recursos de camiones a las ordenes de una especie de mafioso, aunque vito dice que su padre gastaba parte del dinero que ganaba tomando alcohol algo que nos da a entender que su padre comenzó a tener deudas debido a esto.

Por otro lado podemos ver que cuando vito comienza la escuela este conoce a uno de sus buenos amigos durante la historia, que en este caso sería joe, ya que aquí comenzaría a ganar dinero robando tiendas dentro de la ciudad, hasta que finalmente vito es atrapado por la policía, pero debido a que en este tiempo transcurría la segunda guerra mundial, vito logró evadir la cárcel, gracias a que necesitaban voluntarios para el ejército, por lo que vito decide ir a la guerra para evitar caer en la cárcel, por lo que vito comienza su historia como un soldado en la guerra a partir de este momento, por otro lado podemos ver que se encuentran en Sicilia también junto a la resistencia debido a que hay fuerzas enemigas que han tomado todo el territorio.

Siempre quise jugar la saga de Mafia y nunca he podido hacerlo , primero porque no tenía PC con recursos y ahora no tengo mucho tiempo para jugar. Siempre me.llamó la atención el mundo abierto similar al de Drivers 2 y GTA III. Saludos.

Mafia II was a fun game for me and I thought it had better narrative and characters than some of the other GTA games. Has its on unique tone and atmosphere that stands out from GTA that I really liked.
