Como mencioné hace unos días en uno de los posts que realicé sobre un personaje bastante icónico de este serie de posts, como lo fue spyro, en dicho post hice mención de este videojuego ya que spyro hace un cameo en este videojuego también, pero de igual forma este videojuego tuvo muchos aspectos épicos y muy interesantes además de los cameos de diferentes personajes, ya que además este videojuego es un clásico de la consola de sony ps1, y marcó un gran momento en el mundo de los videojuegos además en de influir en la infancia de muchos pioneros en los videojuegos.

Crash Team Racing es un videojuego que fue muy aceptado por la comunidad del personaje y del gaming en general su críticas fueron bastante receptivas y positivas, además de que el juego fue galardonado por su calidad gráficas y sus mecánicas de juego y aspectos del gameplay del juego, además de que posteriormente una secuela de esta misma saga fue sacada en el año 2003 para la consola de ps2, y como una excelente noticia que llegó para los más nostálgicos de los videojuegos en 2019 fue anunciado una remasterización del videojuego con el nombre de crash team Racing nitro fueled, y se anunció en los game award 2019 además de que se lanzó para la consola de Playstation 4, Xbox one y Nintendo swicht, y se estrenó el 21 de junio del año 2019 o básicamente en el año pasado diciéndolo de forma más simple, mucha gente creyó que la temática de un videojuego de carreras de crash bandicoot implicaría vehículos de un mayor tamaño del que se acostumbraba a ver en videojuegos de este tipo pero finalmente los vehículos que vimos en el juego son los famosos karts o kartings, además de contar con estos vehículos podíamos disfrutar de los diferentes modos de juego con los que cuenta el juego entre los cuales se encuentran los modo de Aventura, Contrarreloj, arcade, versus y batalla, con la compra de un accesorio para la consola de ps1 llamada “multitap” se podía incluso expandir el gameplay del videojuego hasta un total de 3 a 4 jugadores, por lo que las personas que tuviera acceso a dicho accesorio de la consola podían disfrutar con amigos de carreras muy competitivas dentro del juego.

De entre todos los modos de juego la forma de poder desbloquear nuevos corredores y desbloquear trofeos dentro del juego era en el modo aventura en el cual teníamos que correr por todas las pitas del juego y completando diferentes retos para poder completar los objetivos y adquirir progreso en el juego, como mencioné anteriormente teníamos en total un rooster de 15 personajes jugables dentro del juego, entre los cuales teníamos por supuesto a crash bandicoot, el doctor neo cortex, coco bandicoot, el doctor gin, pura y polar, tiny tiger, dingodile, fake crash, y son solo algunos de los personajes con los cuales podemos jugar en las diferentes pistas a escoger en el juego, además tenemos también la aparición de nitros oxide el antagonista del videojuego pero este solo tendrá aparición en la carrera final y no es un personaje jugable por lo que en dado caso tenemos otro personaje dentro del juego pero que no es jugable a su vez también pero podemos verlo dentro de las carreras, el videojuego obtuvo puntuaciones que oscilaban entre los 8/10 una puntuación bastante buena y aceptable si tenemos en cuenta que es la puntuación que le dieron los foros de gaming mas importante de la épocas además de que este juego es considerado por muchos unos de los videojuegos memorables del personaje crash, y personalmente lo recuerdo con bastante cariño también ya que me perece un videojuego increíble y que tiene muchos aspectos que seguro despertarán un poco de nostalgia en ti al recordar tus viejas carreras o partidas en este juego.
