❗Hola Hivers❗🐝 bienvenidos a un nuevo post, el día de hoy vamos a recordar de nuevo esos videojuegos que siempre llegan desde la nostalgia para recordarnos algunos de nuestro momentos o inicios en el mundo del gaming, así que el día de hoy echemos un vistazo de nuevo a un videojuego de la consola Playstation 2, dicho esto acompáñenme ❗y que comience el post ❗🐻🚀🎮

Este videojuego a pesar de ser de la consola playstation 2, y en donde el mundo del multijugador todavía tenía bastante imperfecciones este videojuego contaba con un modo de multijugador en donde utilizando nuestra consola y servicio respectivo de la consola podíamos disfrutar de partidas multijugador, además de un modo de un jugador en donde podíamos completar los desafíos que tenía el videojuego, este videojuego era especializado en las carreras de bicicletas de tipo mountain bike, en donde teníamos frenéticas carreras que podíamos disfrutar contra otros rivales de equipos diferentes y en donde podíamos sentir la adrenalina de ponernos al volante de una bicicleta profesional de este tipo y en donde teníamos diferentes pistas, y diferentes tipos de bicicletas para poder disfrutar las pistas que traía el videojuego, en total teníamos a corredores profesionales de la vida real de este mundo de carreras de bicicletas, todos estos eran posibles de desbloquear completando retos y pistas dentro del videojuego y a medida de que nuestro progreso fuera en aumento teníamos más pilotos disponibles para cada pista en específico.

Algo curioso de este videojuego es que comenzábamos con 6 corredores desbloqueados de forma inicial, pero estos a diferencia de los que podían ser desbloqueados, eran corredores completamente ficticios, a diferencia de los que se podían desbloquear que si eran corredores de la vida real de diferentes equipo, por lo que es una curiosidad bastante interesante que tiene este videojuego y que muchas personas notaron en su momento al momento de jugar por primera vez en este videojuego, ya que por lo general no es costumbre ver corredores ficticios con corredores reales en un videojuego de carreras, algo similar podemos comparar con el caso de los videojuegos de autos, en donde casos como burnout tenemos modelos de vehículos y marcas completamente ficticios, a diferencia de need for speed, en donde podemos marcas y modelos reales de vehículos que están autorizados para poder salir en este videojuego, por lo que es bastante curioso este aspecto sobre el videojuego, otro aspecto interesante de este videojuego era que podíamos atacar a otros corredores para tomar la ventaja en una carrera, ya que utilizando los botones del control podíamos realizar ataques de derecha a izquierda, pero de igual manera teníamos power ups dentro de cada pistas, en donde podíamos tener varias posibilidades de obtener ventajas dentro de una carrera en curso.

También teníamos una tienda dentro del videojuego en donde teníamos varios artículos que se podían comprar para poder desbloquear para usarse en las pistas y carreras del videojuego, sin embargo a modo de ahorrar recursos de rendimiento para la consola de ps2, se limito esta característica solo para el modo de un jugador, por lo que no era posible utilizar la tienda en el modo multijugador del juego, una obvia muestra de la limitación que existía en aquellos tiempos en el mundo de los videojuegos y de la capacidad del motor gráfico de este videojuego, que como curiosidad suele ser el mismo motor gráfico que utilizaban algunos videojuegos de deportes de la marca sony en aquellos tiempos también, también teníamos otro modo de poder jugar en casa con amigo con hasta 4 jugadores utilizando cada uno un control diferente de la consola, e utilizando un expansor de puertos para controles de la consola, que era otro accesorio bastante raro de la consola ps2, ya que para esta consola salieron muchos accesorios y periféricos curiosos para dicha consola debido al gran catalogo de juegos que esta adquirió con los años, el videojuego a pesar de no ser un gran éxito en el mundo de los videojuegos, tuvo puntuaciones de un porcentaje del 7/10, por lo que no está anda mal para un videojuego de este tipo y más en aquellas épocas.
