The issue with games is that they are usually a massive time investment if you really want to experience them to the fullest. I have a ton of games that I would love to experience but I have been sticking to Balatro for over a year now as it's easy to pick up when I want sone fun for a short session. Disco Elysium is one that I have ready on my steamdeck that I know I likely will enjoy if I manage to get part the first couple of hours to the point where it hooks me. 25 Hours though to finish it (probably more as I'm always slower) really holds me back from starting.
Also many games I end up starting I never finished. Luigi's manion 2 on my old 3DS is one of those. It looks really nice and kind of is fun but after a while I kind of got bored with it or got stuck somewhere and I never finished it.
