Too bad this game is on Ethereum blockchain, gas fee are too high there, even trough a second layer token you always have to trade via Eth to deposit or withdraw in my experience.

Yes that's the reality - pretty high transaction fees (always hated that aspect). However, the network continues to attract attention due to those smart contracts and the value with which the Ethereum cryptocurrency is still displayed... it will continue to be attractive. I will never understand where the addiction of some to continue to create interactive applications on that type of Blockchain. I cannot explain this strange phenomenon.
Regardless of what happens in the future, Ethereum will not waive those types of fees and that's because of the supply and demand present in the cryptographic markets.
I'm convinced of one thing that the games and applications in the future will be expand to the other alternative platforms and this only to avoid the high fees that will continue to be present on the Ethereum Blockchain. !PGM !LOOLZ !PIZZA !MEME !HUG !LUV
I think some games choose Eth because it looks more "serious" than other blockchains, too bad, fortunately there are the more affordable alternative blockchains like HIVE and WAX too which offer many games. A few on Polygon Matic too, but I'm not familiar with them.

There would also be #Binance Smart Chain, #Polygon (which represents the upper part of the Ethereum network) and #Solana (an independent blockchain network) - this three networks are compatible with the #Ethereum Virtual Machine ( #EVM ) and allow interoperability (mostly these networks are capable to create some bridges with the Ethereum network, allowing the transfer of assets and data between them). I guess Hive #Blockchain cannot allow interoperability with ( EVM ) or maybe....
However, taking into account the fork that occurred from the #Steemit network about 3 years ago - #Hive Blockchain is still for many human beings something still new in the cryptographic environment ( I suspect that it matters a lot, the way to promote this cryptographic environment ). That would be the only explanation why the Hive #ecosystem does not yet have the popularity it deserves. Despite being founded in 2017 as #Steemit, its rebranding to #Hive Blockchain in 2020 brought a new identity and direction for this type of #cryptographic project. !PGM !LOOLZ !PIZZA !MEME
