I just saw this news this morning, I was surprised to see such a big company admit they made a mistake and fix it, at least partially, because although it's nice that they no longer force you to link a PSN account, the game still can't be purchased in the countries where it was removed. Maybe they'll get around to fixing it, but in case they don't, it would be a shame, because I think it would lose quite a bit of audience.

They have a long ways to go in regaining the trust of players in general after this. Good point about they still have not resolved anything for the players that live where Steam is available but not PSN - Restoring the game on Steam in those countries could help in mending the wound but considering they haven't is a red flag that this is just a band-aid. They are acting like they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar and are doing everything but put the cookies back so to speak.
