In the previous chapter we tried to take revenge on Bode for his betrayal, but he ended up escaping to Tanalorr with his daughter and taking the only compass that exists. Luckily while exploring the base where we went to look for him, we found a recording of Santari where he revealed that there was another way to get to Tanalorr, we had to align the antennas with specific coordinates, so without thinking we will head to the point of the antennas to prepare everything.
To align the antennas we will have to use a kind of terminal, but the alignment must be done just when the ship is near the indicated point, so we cannot be the ones to activate them. We will call Zee and ask him to stay at the terminal waiting for our signal.
We will return to the ship and give the signal to Zee. We will see how a kind of portal begins to be created in space through which we will have to pass, although once inside everything will be strange, psychedelic and full of obstacles.
Luckily Greez will manage to overcome the obstacles and we'll end up passing through the portal and finally reaching Tanalorr. We'll land and there won't be much to think about, we'll head straight to the temple Jedi on this planet, where Bode is supposed to be.
The path will be fairly linear and I appreciate it, at this point in the story I don't feel like exploring. When we get to the temple we will see Kata, Bode's daughter. She will be sitting and singing with doll. Cal and Merrin will talk to Kata and try to explain that her father has done something wrong and they need to find him. Kata will agree to lead us to where her father is.
When we meet Bode again, we will try to settle things peacefully, but Bode will go crazy and start attacking us. We will fight against him with the help of Merrin, the first phase will be quite simple to overcome since we will be two against one.
By reducing him enough to life we will see how he is filled with rage and begins to destroy the temple, endangering his own daughter. At this point Merrin will come out of the fight and will be in charge of getting Kata to safety.
Bode will corner us and start hitting us. But just when it seems we have no escape, we will get the option to embrace the darkness. This will make Cal use the power of the dark side again. And something that I find very interesting is that the first time we used this power, the game showed it to you as "accept the darkness", but this time we had to "embrace it", implying that we are getting deeper and deeper into the dark side. Or at least that's what I like to think.
Bode's phase , where he will be more aggressive and faster with his attacks. In general the combat was fun, but I still find it inferior to previous chapters where we faced Darth Vader.last will begin
When we defeat him we will give him the option to surrender, but just when we think he would accept, he will try to kill Merrin, so we will finally end up ending his life. Curiously we will do it with the laser gun he gave us.
With Bode dead, there will be small jumps in time where we will see Merrin conversing with Kata, trying to explain to him what has happened. We will also see how the crew, along with Kata, perform a cremation for Cere, Cordova and Bode, giving them the last goodbye.
Finally, when everyone leaves the place, Cal will dedicate a few words to Cere, he will tell her that she was the one who guided him on the right path and that now that she is not there, he is afraid and does not know if he is ready for what is coming. At the end of the sentence, we will see the silhouette of Cere next to Cal, this one will simply say: "Guide her through the darkness", referring to Kata. Then we'll leave and that's the end of the game.
Honestly, I was finding the ending a bit weak, but that last scene made me more excited than I should be I mean, will Cal turn to the dark side in the next game? Will Kata become a dark side too? The way Jedi Cere appears and talks is pretty grim and gloomy, which gives me to understand that it's the dark side clouding Cal's head maybe? I don't know, but they managed to grab my attention, I want to know how this will end. I hope the third game comes to fruition at some point and this story doesn't remain incomplete. En el capítulo anterior intentamos vengarnos de Bode por su traición, pero terminó escapando a Tanalorr junto a su hija y llevándose la única brújula que existe. Por suerte mientras explorábamos la base donde fuimos a buscarlo, encontramos una grabación de Santari donde revelaba que existía otra forma de llegar a Tanalorr, había que alinear las antenas con unas coordenadas específicas, así que sin pensarlo nos dirigiremos al punto de las antenas para prepararlo todo.
Para alinear las antenas deberemos usar una especie de terminal, pero la alineación debe hacerse justo cuando la nave esté cerca del punto indicado, por lo que no podemos ser nosotros quien las activemos. Llamaremos a Zee y le pediremos que se quede en la terminal esperando nuestra señal.
Regresaremos a la nave y le daremos la señal a Zee. Veremos como comienza a crearse una especie de portal en el espacio por el que deberemos pasar, aunque una vez dentro todo será extraño, psicodélico y lleno de obstáculos.
Por suerte Greez logrará superar los obstáculos y terminaremos pasando a través del portal y, finalmente, llegando a Tanalorr. Aterrizaremos y no habrá mucho que pensar, nos dirigiremos directamente al templo Jedi en este planeta, donde se supone estará Bode.
El camino será bastante lineal y lo agradezco, en este punto de la historia no me apetece explorar. Cuando lleguemos al templo veremos a Kata, la hija de Bode. Estará sentada y cantando con muñeco. Cal y Merrin conversarán con Kata e intentarán explicarle que su padre ha hecho algo malo y que necesitan encontrarlo. Kata aceptará guiarnos hasta donde está su padre.
Al encontrarnos nuevamente con Bode, intentaremos arreglar las cosas de forma pacífica, pero Bode se volverá loco y comenzará a atacarnos. Lucharemos contra él con la ayuda de Merrin, la primera fase será bastante sencilla de superar ya que seremos dos contra uno.
Al reducirle suficiente la vida veremos como se llena de ira y comienza a destruir el templo, poniendo en peligro a su propia hija. En este momento Merrin saldrá del combate y se encargará de poner a salvo a Kata.
Bode nos acorralará y comenzará a golpearnos. Pero justo cuando parece que no tenemos escapatoria, nos saldrá la opción de abrazar la oscuridad. Esto hará que Cal nuevamente use el poder del lado oscuro. Y algo que me parece muy interesante es que la primera vez que usamos este poder, el juego te lo mostraba como “aceptar la oscuridad”, pero esta vez tuvimos que “abrazarla”, dando a entender que cada vez nos adentramos más en el lado oscuro. O al menos eso me gusta pensar.
Comenzará la ultima fase de Bode, donde será más agresivo y rápido con sus ataques. En general el combate estuvo divertido, pero me sigue pareciendo inferior que el de capítulos anteriores donde enfrentamos a Darth Vader.
Cuando lo derrotemos le daremos la opción de rendirse, pero justo cuando pensamos que aceptaría, intentará matar a Merrin, por lo que finalmente terminaremos acabando con su vida. Curiosamente lo haremos con la pistola laser que él nos dio.
Con Bode muerto, habrá pequeños saltos en el tiempo donde veremos a Merrin conversando con Kata, intentando explicarle lo que ha sucedido. También veremos como la tripulación, junto a Kata, realiza una cremación para Cere, Cordova y Bode, dándoles el último adiós.
Finalmente, cuando todos se marchen del lugar, Cal le dedicará unas palabras a Cere, le dirá que ella fue quien lo guio por el camino correcto y que ahora que no está, tiene miedo y no sabe si está listo para lo que viene. Al terminar la frase, veremos la silueta de Cere a un lado de Cal, esta simplemente dirá: “Guíala por la oscuridad”, refiriéndose a Kata. Luego nos marcharemos y ahí acabará el juego.
Honestamente, el final me estaba pareciendo un poco flojo, pero esa última escena hizo que me emocionase más de lo que debería ¿Es decir, Cal se pasará al lado oscuro en el próximo juego? ¿Kata se convertirá en un Jedi del lado oscuro también? La forma en la que Cere aparece y habla es bastante lúgubre y tétrica, lo que me da a entender que es el lado oscuro nublándole la cabeza a Cal ¿Quizás? No lo sé, pero lograron captar mi atención, quiero saber cómo acabará esto. Espero que el tercer juego se haga realidad en algún momento y esta historia no quede incompleta. Pero bueno, gracias por acompañarme en esta aventura.

I think that despite the love when you have the enemy in front of you you should never give him a second chance, you just give him another chance to kill you.
Una traición siempre duele, pero es algo que pasa todo el tiempo, no sé cómo sigue la historia. Pero solo espero que no termine siendo del lado oscuro, ya hay escritores arruinando buenas historias por todas partes, tratando de hacer giros impresionantes.
