In this video, I talk about and demonstrate a bit about the game I'm developing, Horizon Forge, a casual autobattler. You can play against a bot, against other players (requires a Hive account), and play by betting Hive tokens. If you win, a portion comes back to you, depending on your choice (receiving liquid Hive or stake). This allows you to have more battles, and if you can read your opponent's strategy and learn their mechanics, you can dominate the duels!
I created it to be a fast-paced game, without NFTs, without L2 tokens, only the main Hive blockchain token. This makes everything much more dynamic and enjoyable, without surprises. It doesn't matter if you have a lot or a little token or stake; what matters here is knowing how to play and performing well on the battlefield.

Thank you very much! You can play against bots to get started, but it’s much better if you can get some friends to play with you.
You can challenge other players in PVP mode for free, without betting anything, or you can bet 1, 5, or 10 Hive; the winner gets at least 80% of the bet back.

That’s a great idea! I’ll try to implement it. I’m working on it practically every day, trying to improve something or fix a bug. I also need to test the PvP part more—it’s working, but a little more testing never hurts, haha.

I would actually recommend that if you are going to try to do PvP, maybe change the direction a little bit and look at coop 2 players from one team vs AI or so on.
It will be a bit of a challenge redoing the models but it will be worth it.

This is very cool! Similar to my @pepegame and also @splinterlands in some ways, but with interesting differences. I just read the Grimoire / How To Play page and I'll be trying some actual battles as soon as I can.
Looking forward to seeing how the 2D battlefield goes. I'm used to all cards being in a line (1D) but the 2D layout should be fun!

Thank you so much! I love creating something new, always drawing inspiration from here and there, and I really enjoyed this autobattler game style. I’d never played one before, but after Rumble Arcade, I became really interested in this type of game. I wanted to make something where players have to be online to find a match, with friends challenging each other online, just like in the old days! But I think the challenge and strategy are a major selling point—anyone can beat anyone, so this is a great direction to go in!
