Hello hive gamers!!
So recently, I picked up an obsession with indie games because I find them to be quite fascinating and I saw this one out of the blue after searching the deep oblivion of the internet. The game is called Osu and I've been playing it for a while since I got it.
The game is a free to play rhythm game and was released in the year 2007. I'm just discovering this game in 2021 because I live under a rock.
Basically, the game is about clicking circles to the music. Sounds pretty easy right?
Yeah, that's what I thought until I saw someone's gameplay that looks something like this:
At first, I wanted to quit playing the game when I saw this but then I thought to myself that I could probably do something like this (I honestly have no idea what I was thinking back then). I tried playing something like this and could barely even get past the beginning (Not much surprise there).
As a person who likes rhythm and indie games so much, I've gotten so much into the game and I would say that my progress has improved by so much since I started.
I tried to make a live recording of this but my PC wasn't good enough to handle the pressure. So, this is a short replay that I was able to save. Enjoy:
Gameplay by meMy gameplay is horrible in the video today because I wasn't in a very comfortable spot when I made this and it was a struggle for me to find out how to upload a video to hive (I don't think I even did it properly. Help would be greatly appreciated)

How can you say your gameplay was horrible? The whole video sounded great and looks really amazing. You got to do a x165 combo, I don't know if it's that hard to do that, but it looks too amazing to me because of the speed you were pressing the circles. Is that the hard difficulty or is it a normal level?
Thank you very much. I wasn't in the best spot when I played this so I wasn't playing too well then I started to feel insecure about it. That's why I called it horrible.
For the difficulty, it is a 4 star level which is more like the insane difficulty (The levels are sorted in star ratings from 1 to 10. Some are even beyond 10 stars).
Personally I think you played truly amazing, you could bring better gameplays when you are in a more comfortable spot. I really like rhythm games, I should try to play Osu! at some point in my life. The only thing I've played is Geometry Dash :P
I play geometry dash too but I stopped for a while after I discovered forms of rage that I never knew existed 😅
Hello osu has always seemed to me a good rhythm game, by the way I have it installed. You play pretty well, but it is always based on playing several times and you will see how you will improve and go playing faster musics.I play is osu!mania mode I like it a little more.Good post <3
Thank you ❤. I actually thought I wasn't playing well at all but it seems it was just me. I play a bit of osu!mania too but I'm still struggling on 1 star levels tho
