You don't need to install anything XD. You can find the mods around the lower left corner of the screen.

They can be used to make the game harder (for a higher score), make it slightly easier (but gives a lower score) or to use for practice. You can always feel free to give them a try.
I tried a fool moon night too but I decided to leave it because that thing is just something else. About finding maps, I had a bit of trouble with that when I first started too. So I just joined some beginner multiplayer lobbies and just downloaded the ones that other people put up instead then I practiced with them.
I also plan to make some videos of other games but I haven't fully decided what to publish yet.
