Greetings to the Hive Game community, it is nice to be able to spend a moment and share with you. These days I have been a little entertained with various things, among what I have been doing, I have been trying a series of Gacha-type games, and now I take the opportunity to share the ones that I found fun.
I clarify that the Gacha games I am sharing are free and are friendly to free players (you can do all the content without spending real money).
And of course, for those who invest real money, there will be advantages. It's only fair, since it seems to me that they have to make a profit from their work.
Gacha-type games (a term born in Japan) refer to gaming machines that are very popular in Asian countries. Where you insert a token or coin into the machine so that the machine releases a random object from the table of available prizes.
Echocalypse (the global version) is a role-playing game that came to the mobile phone game market only on December 14 of this year, 2023. It is the creation of the game company Yoozoo Games (Singapore).

This company caught my attention, since it has collaborated with LOL, with Game of Thrones and Netflix. In addition to being involved in some controversy due to the apparent murder by poisoning of its founder, Mr. Lin Qi, a Chinese businessman who had created the company in 2009.
It is a mobile game, but it can be played on the PC with emulators, I use the one provided by the same company on its official website.
This is a pretty fun game, there are plenty of things to do and be busy with, the character design is very well done, the combatants are really attractive.
Historia
In the game's story, the world undergoes a catastrophic transformation, and people evolve by acquiring special powers and abilities.
Our character and his sister are civilians looking for crystals and objects of some value that can be sold, rummaging through the abandoned rubble of the cities.
But we suddenly find ourselves embroiled in a confrontation between two powerful corporations.
One of the factions helps us, while the other tries to kidnap us, which is strange, since it is just the first time we have searched the area.
Our sister, at the end of the confrontation, ends up locked in an amber crypt while we repel the attack of the enemy faction.
The story continues in the search for a way to free our sister and escape, so we join the industrial faction that helped us.
It's not a very impressive story, but it does the job of giving meaning to the game.
Game mechanics
As for mechanics, I have to highlight its Gacha system, which daily gives you ten free throws or opportunities to obtain characters (a multi of ten throws).
And then when you reach chapter three they give you a multi of ten characters, and as you advance a little further in the story they give you ten multi of ten characters, in total one hundred more additional launches.
When you reach chapter five of the story, you can choose which of the ten throws out of the hundred you made you want to claim.
There is also a banner to obtain special weapons, in the weapons banner we obtain fragments of the weapons.
Depending on the rarity of the weapon, it is the number of fragments you need to be able to obtain the special weapon or the duplicate to increase the power. The greater the power of the weapon (R, SR, SSR), the greater the number of fragments will be needed.
Technical performance
The battles are partly one of the few drawbacks that the game has, they are automatic, you do not have control of the characters. You can equip the characters, order the runes to attack according to what you have placed them, but you do not have the option of manual battles.
I partly understand it, being a mobile game, but I would like a little more control.
In each area we have to overcome enemies until we complete the circuit and be able to move on to the next one.
The game is fun, there are plenty of things to do and the events are entertaining. But what I can't do is connect with the story, I'm the type of player who enjoys it more when the game gives you a good backstory.
Having played Reverse, Dislyte and Nikke, I think I have a little high expectations when reviewing another Gacha type game.
Echocalyse is a worthwhile and beautiful game, the Gacha system of this game is really and absurdly generous, I appreciate the latter. I hate gacha games where they give you fifty or a hundred chances and you get the same repeated characters, here you get the character in at most fifty chances.
I liked the game despite the flaws in the story, so I wanted to share it. I hope you have a lot of fun playing during these end of year holidays.

Los juegos tipo Gacha (termino nacido en el Japón), hacen referencia a unas máquinas de juegos muy populares en los países asiáticos. Donde le insertas un token o una moneda a la máquina para que la máquina te libere un objeto aleatorio de la tabla de premios disponibles.

Este es un juego bastante divertido, hay multitud de cosas que hacer y de las que estar ocupado, el diseño de los personajes está muy bien logrado, las combatientes son realmente atractivas.
Historia
En la historia del juego, el mundo sufre una transformación catastrófica, y las personas evolucionan adquiriendo poderes y habilidades especiales.
Nuestro personaje y su hermana son civiles que buscan cristales y objetos de algún valor, que se puedan vender, hurgando entre los escombros abandonados de las ciudades.
Pero nos encontramos de repente envueltos en un enfrentamiento de dos corporaciones poderosas.
Una de las facciones nos presta ayuda, mientras que la otra trata de secuestrarnos, lo que es extraño, ya que recién es la primera vez que buscamos en la zona.
Nuestra hermana, al final del enfrentamiento, termina encerrada en una cripta de ámbar mientras repelemos el ataque de la facción enemiga.
La historia sigue en la búsqueda del modo de liberar a nuestra hermana y poder escapar, así que nos unimos al la facción industrial que nos prestó ayuda.
No es una historia demasiado impresionante, pero cumple con la función de darle sentido al juego.
Mecánicas de juego
En cuanto a mecánicas, tengo que resaltar su sistema de Gacha, que diariamente te da gratis diez lanzamientos u oportunidades, para obtener personajes (una multi de diez lanzamientos).
Y luego al llegar al capítulo tres te dan una multi de diez personajes, y al ir avanzando un poco más en la historia te regala diez multi de diez personajes, en total cien lanzamientos más adicionales.
Al llegar al capítulo cinco de la historia, puedes escoger cuál de los diez lanzamientos de los cien que hiciste quieres reclamar.
Hay también un banner para obtener armas especiales, en el banner de armas vamos obteniendo fragmentos de las armas.
Según la rareza del arma, es la cantidad de fragmentos que necesitas para poder obtener el arma especial o el duplicado para aumentar el poder, a mayor poder del arma (R, SR, SSR) se necesitaran mayor cantidad de fragmentos.
Performance técnica
Las batallas son en parte una de las pocas pegas que tiene el juego, son automáticas, no tienes el control de los personajes. A los personajes puedes equiparlos, ordenar las runas para que ataquen según las hayas colocado, pero no tienes la opción de batallas manuales.
En parte lo entiendo, al ser un juego para teléfonos móviles, pero me gustaría tener un poco más de control.
En cada zona tenemos que ir superando enemigos hasta completar el circuito y poder pasar a la siguiente.
El juego es divertido, hay multitud de cosas por hacer y los eventos son entretenidos. Pero lo que no logro es conectar con la historia, soy del tipo de jugador que disfruta más cuando el juego te ofrece una buena historia de fondo.
Habiendo jugado, Reverse, Dislyte y Nikke, creo que tengo expectativas un poco altas cuando evaluó otro juego del tipo Gacha.
Echocalyse es un juego que vale la pena y es bonito, el sistema Gacha de este juego es realmente y absurdamente generoso, esto último lo agradezco. Odio los juegos gacha donde te dan cincuenta o cien oportunidades y sacas los mismos personajes repetidos, aquí como máximo en cincuenta oportunidades tienes al personaje.
Me gusto el juego a pesar de los fallos en la historia, así que quise compartirlo. Espero que disfruten mucho jugando durante estas fiestas de final de año.
