It has been a while since I played this game, and the last time I think I did so was when I wrote my last article about the game. It is just one game that is nostalgic to me because of how I played it back then when I was much younger. I did not need much back then, no need for bills, just a mobile device for an older person was all I needed. Power it up and play the game until the battery is drained. Then return it like I did not know what I just did.
Since I was on my usual lunch break from work, I thought it would not be so bad if I played this game again. I did want to play something serious, like FC Mobile or any adventure game. My next option was to play some bullet chess on my mobile device, but then again, that has to be the most serious game on my phone, and it sure brings out the competitiveness and emotions in me, even though it is just an online game.
So Angry Birds 2 it was. The game is simple, childish, and it has that playful interface. I have not been playing much of the game, so this time it was my first couple of missions. At each stage or level, you get to unlock the birds in the cage who are your companions, and if you have watched the Angry Birds movie, you should know that some of the birds in the cage are friends with the red bird. I do not remember their names precisely, but I can never forget that the red bird is always the angry one, hence its name Angry Bird.
I even took out the time to work on my name, and as expected, I had to use my gaming name. Hopefully, it will become a gaming brand name that becomes popular for playing different kinds of games on its blog. As I mentioned earlier, the mission for this game is simple. Just take down the green pigs or so, I don't even know what they are called, and that is too bad for someone who has played the game as a child and watched the cartoons. I guess as we get older, we do not remember much.
Before transitioning into a new mission, I got the black bird unlocked. This bird is special because of its ability to blow things up, aside from crashing them down. It is protocol to go through a tutorial on how to use a new bird before the mission. The tutorial was easy, and if you choose to skip it, you still get to play the mission and pass it too. The game is not that serious.

It was not hard to play, and I played a couple more rounds. It is a nice way to just go on a break from work and play a not-so-serious game, simply for the fun of it. Things don't have to be serious all the time. Just have fun with it. Now I see why some people still love to play indie games and games from the 90s. It is that nostalgic feeling of comfort and memory it brings.
