Today we’re heading back to the Kanto region in search of adventure and new surprises. That’s right, we’ll be playing Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu, and today’s journey will be nothing short of… LEGENDARY. Let’s go!
Hola amigos y comunidad Gaming, espero que estén teniendo un muy lindo día. Hoy tuve algo de tiempo libre, así que ya saben lo que eso significa: ¡hora de ponernos al día con nuestros videojuegos! Hoy regresamos a la región de Kanto en busca de aventuras y nuevas sorpresas. Sí, estaremos jugando Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu, y la aventura de hoy resultará cuanto menos… LEGENDARIA. ¡Allá vamos!
Right at the entrance, we ran into our first Electric-type Pokémon of the day. It could only be the explosive Voltorb. This Pokémon is well known for using Self-Destruct at the most unexpected moments, so we’ll be careful when trying to catch it. Sometimes, its shape and color make it easy to mistake for a Poké Ball lying on the ground.

We finally caught a Grimer! This Poison-type Pokémon used to be one of my favorites. It looks like a mix of a slimy, dangerous, and toxic substance—and that’s exactly one of its main traits: deadly attacks that poison the enemy and choking toxic clouds. I just remembered its Alolan form, and while it’s interesting, I think I prefer its original version.
I also love its goofy and clumsy appearance, but without a doubt it’s super effective against Grass-type Pokémon, so I’m adding it to my team.

There are many interesting trainers in the Power Plant. It’s a place full of metal and sparks, so it’s best to tread carefully—but also enjoy the adventure and the surprises along the way: the items you find, the battles you win, and above all, the Pokémon you catch.

A wild Electabuzz has appeared! True to its fiery temperament, it starts roaring at us with crackling sounds. I used to love this Pokémon—it was always part of my team whenever I could include it. Over time, I’ve stopped using it in battles, but I still think it has one of the most beautiful designs of its generation. It truly embodies what a Pokémon is and represents. I imagine it as the Electric-type counterpart to Pikachu.

Between battles and captures, our Krabby has evolved—welcome, reef king Kingler! I think he’s the crustacean of this generation par excellence haha, and we all remember his role in the anime and that epic mid-championship evolution moment.

We ran into a trainer who uses only fossil Pokémon: Kabutops, Omastar, and Aerodactyl. So we gave her a little electrifying energy courtesy of our Pikachu! Pikachu actually has a type advantage over all three—despite their shared Rock-type, they also have Water, Water, and Flying as secondary types, which are all weak against Electric.

And then the popular Magnemite appeared—something tells me we’re getting closer to our goal. I used to hate this Pokémon because it always caused either confusion or paralysis, and I really dislike those status effects. Catching it is pretty tough too, since it keeps flying around at high speed, darting here and there.

And if there are Magnemite, of course there will be Magneton. I didn’t really enjoy this Pokémon’s design at first, but over time I’ve grown to like it. Even though it’s never been part of my team, it’s earned a little appreciation.
