The Beginning Of A Crazy Action Adventure - Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition
How are you? I hope very well, this is my first post in this community, so I wanted to start with a playthrough of Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition, which is one of my favorite games from my adolescence, this is the version included in Devil May Cry: HD Collection for PC, it should be noted that I tried to write this post as if it were a dramatic tale, so without further ado let's begin.
This story begins with the legend of the Dark Knight Sparda and his two sons, apparently these boys have never gotten along well so over time their relationship only escalated to greater conflicts, to the point that one day both faced each other in a fierce battle and only one emerged victorious.
However, I have to go back in time to let you know the origin of this conflict, which takes me to the day when Dante (one of Sparda's sons) is visited in his store by a suspicious man, who leaves him a message inviting him to meet with his brother.
I'm not a native English speaker, so I apologise for any gramatical error. All the screenshots in this post were taken on my PC while playing.
But this is nothing more than an orchestrated plan to allow the demons breaks into the place, so the silver-haired young man has to defend himself, showing off his superhuman abilities.
After this frantic scene, I was finaly able to take control of Dante, so i began to deal swords left and right, while I familiarized with the gameplay system. Despite having very limited attacks and combos, this did not stop me from gradually eliminating all the enemies that appeared.
After this first contact, I was able to witness how the young Dante was furious because his shop had been completely destroyed by these infernal creatures, the worst thing was that he had not even given it a name yet, so things were only about to get uglier.
Taking again controls of Dante and to the rhythm of a powerful metal music, I set to work to kick the asses of the hordes of demons that had destroyed the precious shop.
As I eliminated the enemies, other demons appeared with a different look, they exploded if I shot them constant bursts of bullets, so I moved far enough to avoid taking damage.
Just when I thought I had finished with all the enemies, a great demon dressed in black and armed with a gigantic scythe appeared, this infernal creature emitted frightening screams.
While I was facing this monster I could notice how it teleported after receiving several of my attacks, but not only that as it was also able to block them from time to time, however while paying more attention to its movements I managed to adapt to its attack patterns and defeat it in a short time.
Then from the depths of the earth emerged a kind of huge tower, at its top stood a guy dressed in a blue suit who had a very serious expression on his face, it was nothing more and nothing less than Vergil, Dante's twin brother (Oh My God).
At this point it was revealed to me that Vergil and the strange guy who appeared earlier in Dante's shop are working together.
To complicate things further a motorized girl makes an appearance in a distant area and claims to have found what she was looking for.
Taking control of the young demon hunter again, I carefully made my way through a street full of enemies and explosive barrels.
I reached a small bar, there hanging on one of the walls I found a brand new and powerful shotgun, I picked it up and continued moving forward.
The path led me to a nightclub and it was only a matter of a few minutes before the demons burst into the place, this time there were some gray dressed ones more resistant than the others I had faced before, but thanks to the help of my newly acquired shotgun and my faithful sword rebellion, I was able to eliminate them with a good dose of shots and sword combos.
I went to an outside area and decided to explore the surroundings of the destroyed buildings, then I found a couple of items that serve to increase my health bar (the blue orb fragments).
After that I headed towards the divine statue that was right at the entrance of the tower, to acquire a couple of new skills with the red orbs I had collected.
As I continued my way through the entrance of the tower, a huge and ferocious three-headed dog apeared, it was the guardian of that enclosure, suddenly Dante began to make comments to ridicule the beast and that obviously did not make him any fun.
Taking back control of the impulsive demon hunter, it was quite clear to me that this was going to be the first challenging battle of the game, this infernal being launched many devastating ice attacks and when he got angrier tried to reach me with his lethal swoops.
Things got so complicated that just when we were both on the verge of death, I was forced to shoot him from the distance in order to emerge victorious from this fierce confrontation.
After the exhaustive battle, the huge beast stated that Dante had proven to be a very strong warrior, so I was rewarded with a new demonic weapon, the freezing Nunchaku called Cerberus.
Just before I could continue the adventure, the mysterious motorized girl burst into the enclosure and witnessed the tense first meeting between these two characters, which culminated with the silver haired demon hunter doing a crazy maneuver riding a missile and the girl going on her way.

Every time I think of this game I think of the battles against Vergil, they were spectacular my god. If I had to choose, I would say that it is practically my favorite game of the saga, this Dante is very fun and the game has a lot of variety of weapons and enemies, something that games like God of War lack, no offense clearly because it is another game that I love.
Dante is a very charismatic character, his combat style is very fun. God of war is also a good franchise although its gameplay is not as refined as the DMC series in my opinion, thanks for commenting.
Nice stuff dude. I've never played one of the Devil May Cry games but they seem pretty cool. Since you're from Venezuela feel free to include an English translation in your posts. Hive's Gaming Community has a ton of Spanish speaking users to that would be a great way for you to attract some locals to your posts. Also taking the time to engage with other users by reading, voting and commenting on their posts is a great way to grow your account.
I recommend you to try DMC series when you have the chance, they are very fun action games especially DMC3, 4 and 5. Thanks for the recommendations, I will read and support other users' content 😄

It is an excellent saga, and Dante is very loved, there are Japanese and Korean novels in which he is one of the protagonists.
