The game lost quite a lot of players, but it still has a cult following. And yes I know a lot of people who only did skilling, and avoided combat. I have not played much lately but in the past 4-5 years I have wasted a ton of hours. With Hive occupying most of my time, I can't play many games besides Splinterlands and Rising Star Game these days.
