The world of video games is full of games that aim for the simple and minimalist, often this results in a game with quite striking aspects, personally many times my attention is attracted by such games, when I think of examples I think of Stick Fight, A Short Hike and the game I'm going to talk about today, Lonely Mountain Downhill, a game in which you are a cyclist who has to ride down some mountains, a game with a number of mechanics that can be counted on the fingers of one hand but with a very nice and minimalist visual aesthetic.
El mundo de los videojuegos está repleto de juegos que apuntan por lo simple y minimalista, en muchas ocasiones esto da como resultado un juego con aspectos bastantes llamativos, en lo personal muchas veces mi atención se ve atraída por este tipo de juegos, cuando pienso en ejemplos pienso en Stick Fight, A Short Hike y el juego del que les vengo a hablar hoy, Lonely Mountain Downhill, un juego en el que eres un ciclista que tiene que bajar por unas montañas, un juego con una cantidad de mecánicas que se pueden contar con los dedos de una mano pero con una estética visual muy bonita y minimalista.
Lonely Mountains Downhill is an indie developed by Megagon Industries, a game in which you are a cyclist who must make routes through some mountains, while we complete some we unlock others, and also unlocking new bikes or parts of them to customize them, there are bikes that have better performance than others and which will be useful to ride trails that are very rustic, it is very normal to run into cliffs in which you must be very careful to go down, if you know very well how to move through them, you will have taken a good shortcut.
Lonely Mountains Downhill es un indie desarrollado por Megagon Industries, un juego en el que eres un ciclista que debe hacer recorridos por unas montañas, mientras vamos completando algunas vamos desbloqueando otras, y también desbloqueando bicicletas nuevas o partes de ellas para personalizarlas, hay bicicletas que tienen mejor rendimiento que otras y las cuales nos serán útiles para recorrer senderos que sean muy rústicos, es muy normal toparte con riscos en los cuales debes tener bastante cuidado para bajar, si sabes muy bien como desplazarte a través de ellos, habrás tomado un buen atajo.
Las mecánicas son bastante simples, acelerar, frenar, girar y esprintar, al principio puede ser un poco complejo usarlas para avanzar, pero no tardarás mucho en dominarlas y una vez que lo hagas, estarás disfrutando el bajar por los senderos de una montaña, algunas rutas son difíciles y si te caes de la bicicleta tendrás que ir al ultimo Checkpoint que agarraste, y es muy fácil caerse, si chocas con una piedra o te caes de una altura considerable, tu personaje se caerá de la bicicleta, hay muchos atajos que puedes tomar para avanzar en el menor tiempo posible, pero algunas de ellas son difíciles porque implican saltar sobre otras rocas.
The mechanics are quite simple, accelerate, brake, turn and sprint, at first it can be a bit complex to use them to advance, but it won't take you long to master them and once you do, you'll be enjoying going down the trails of a mountain, some routes are difficult and if you fall off the bike you'll have to go to the last Checkpoint you reached, and it is very easy to fall, if you hit a rock or fall from a considerable height, your character will fall off the bike, there are many shortcuts you can take to advance in the shortest time possible, but some of them are difficult because they involve jumping over other rocks.
What I love about this game is the lack of elements that I normally love about video games, but this one has none of that, it has no soundtrack or other factor that tries to increase the epicness or dynamism of the game, it's just you with your bike and the sounds of the environment, there is no soundtrack, the only thing you hear is the bike rolling, the birds singing and the earth being attacked by the tires of the bike, it's like I'm watching an ASMR, I like to go with patience, I don't get frustrated if I crash constantly or feel pressured by the game when I get stuck in an area.
Lo que me encanta de este juego es la carencia de elementos que normalmente me encantan de los videojuegos, pero este no tiene nada de eso, no tiene una banda sonora u otro factor que intente incrementar la epicidad o el dinamismo del juego, solo estas tú con tu bicicleta y los sonidos del entorno, no hay una banda sonora, lo único que oyes es la bicicleta rodar, los pájaros cantando y la tierra sendo atacada por las llantas de la bicicleta, es como si estuviese viendo un ASMR, me gusta ir con paciencia, no me frustra si choco constantemente ni me siento presionado por el juego cuando me atoro en una zona.
Pero si eres un poco más competitivo puedes desafiar al tiempo y tratar de completar los senderos en el menor tiempo posible, de hecho hay una tabla de clasificación donde puedes comparar tu tiempo con el de otros jugadores, yo soy una persona muy competitiva, pero no quise estar presionado e intentar ser mejor que alguien más, solo quería bajar la montaña de una manera más relajada, sin lugar a dudas es un juego que se aleja de los juegos que te obligan a pasar frustraciones para completar ciertas zonas.
But if you are a bit more competitive you can challenge the time and try to complete the trails in the shortest time possible, in fact there is a leaderboard where you can compare your time with other players, I am a very competitive person, but I didn't want to be pressured and try to be better than someone else, I just wanted to go down the mountain in a more relaxed way, without a doubt it is a game that moves away from the games that force you to go through frustrations to complete certain areas.

Mi amor perdón, he estado burda de ausente porque ando reorganizando muchas cosas en mi vida, distribuir el tiempo entre mi señora, el trabajo, los muchachos, hace muchísimo que no juego nada yo solo, y ahorita es que llegué a probar este juego y no he podido jugar más nada para mi xd, haciendo todo lo posible para no caer en emociones feas, tkm meper donas? :C

Este juego me recuerda mucho al Camping simulator mas que nada por el estilo gráfico,se ve entretenido pero dale volve a jugar con tus amigos al CSGO se nota que te extrañan o necesitan tus habilidades para ganar aajajaja
