HELLO, I've been playing Skyrim for a while now, but I've been mostly dedicated to completing side quests and visiting places that seem interesting, all without knowing anything at all, without seeing guides or any kind of help, but recently I found a video where a player was walking through the map of Skyrim, I found it very interesting and I wanted to try it myself. So I decided to find a point A to start from, and a point B to get there, taking pictures of the interesting things I find (I'll try not to make spoilers to not ruin the experience for those who haven't played it ^^).
HOLA, llevo un buen tiempo jugando a Skyrim, pero me he dedicado en gran parte a completar misiones secundarias y visitar lugares que parecen interesantes, todo sin saber absolumente nada, sin ver guías o algún tipo de ayuda, pero hace poco me topé con un video donde un jugador caminaba a través el mapa de Skyrim, me pareció muy interesante y quise intentarlo yo. Así que me dispuse a buscar un punto A desde donde empezar, y un punto B hacia donde me dirigiré, tomando fotos de las cosas interesantes que me encuentre. (intentaré no hacer spoilers para no arruinar la experiencia de quien no lo haya jugado ^^)
My point A is the College of Winterhold, a guild of mages where they offer us some very interesting quests and where we will know a little more about the history of Skyrim, I completed all the quests they offered me and I became the archmage.
Mi punto A es el Colegio de Hibernalia, una facción de magos donde nos ofrecen algunas misiones muy interesantes y donde conoceremos un poco más de la historia de Skyrim, completé todas las misiones que me ofrecían y me convertí en el archimago.
Y mi punto B es Falkreath, no conozco nada de este lugar y eso despierta mucho más mi interés por explorar y descubrir lugares nuevos, va a ser un largo camino lleno de amenazas y momentos interesantes.
And my point B is Falkreath, I don't know anything about this place and that awakens much more my interest to explore and discover new places, it's going to be a long way full of threats and interesting moments.
This is my character, a Nordic, his name is Guts in honor of Kentaro Miura (R.I.P) I'm a mage and I also use melee, but mainly I like to use the spells of destruction, even though he doesn't look anything like the real Guts, I really liked how the character turned out and all the outfits fit him very well.
Este es mi personaje, un nórdico, se llama Guts en honor a Kentaro Miura (D.E.P) soy un mago y también uso melee, pero principalmente me gusta usar los hechizos de destrucción, a pesar de que no se parece en nada al verdadero Guts, me gustó mucho como quedó el personaje y todos los atuendos le quedan muy bien.
Nada más empezar esta aventura me pasó algo que nunca me había pasado, un dragón invadió el colegio y mi aventura empezó de la manera más épica, con una batalla contra un dragón, este evento me dejaba en claro que no sería una tarea fácil.
As soon as I started this adventure something happened to me that had never happened before, a dragon invaded the school and my adventure began in the most epic way, with a battle against a dragon, this event made it clear to me that it would not be an easy task.
Luego de matar al dragón y absorber su alma decidí seguir mi rumbo, todo normal, pasé por Hibernalia, y desde una montaña logré ver a dos sujetos y decidí acercarme a ver que pasaba, al llegar me di cuenta que se trataba de un engaño, eran vampiros esperando a alguien para matarlo y robarle sus cosas, ese alguien era yo, pero logré matarlos, not today baby.
After killing the dragon and absorbing its soul I decided to continue on my way, everything normal, I passed through Winterhold, and from a mountain I saw two guys and decided to get closer to see what was going on, when I arrived I realized that it was a trap, they were vampires waiting for someone to kill him and steal his things, that someone was me, but I managed to kill them, not today baby.
Seguí mi rumbo hasta que me encontré con unos Espectros del hielo, me mataron un par de veces y tuve que iniciar mi viaje desde 0 :C pero al final pude con ellos, fue una dura batalla pero acá solo hay sitio para el verdadero monstruo de las nieves, YO.
I followed my course until I met some Ice Wraiths, they killed me a couple of times and I had to start my journey from 0 :C but in the end I was able to beat them, it was a hard battle but here there is only space for the real snow monster, ME.
Y seguí caminando por las fuertes ventiscas de frío que azotan esta parte del mundo, topándome con Saarthal, una antigua tumba nórdica, dice la historia que fue la capital de los nórdicos cuando llegaron por primera vez a esta parte del mundo
And I continued walking through the strong cold blizzards that hit this part of the world, coming across Saarthal, an ancient Norse tomb, the story goes that it was the capital of the Norsemen when they first came to this part of the world.
Al parecer hay muchos vampiros rondando en estas zonas del juego, porque al poco tiempo me encontré con otros , tenían secuestrado a un Vigilante de Stendarr, quien ya estaba muerto, y cerca de ahí me encontré con restos de edificaciones, restos cubiertos por la blanca escarcha y adornado con el frío hielo, esta zona se llama Alftand y al parecer es una enorme ciudad subterránea, no decidí entrar porque no es mi objetivo.
Apparently there are many vampires roaming in these areas of the game, because soon after I met others, they had kidnapped a Vigilant of Stendarr, who was already dead, and near there I found remains of buildings, remains covered by white frost and adorned with cold ice, this area is called Alftand and apparently is a huge subway city, I decided not to enter because it is not my goal.
I had to go around the mountain where I was because I faced a wall of snow that forced me to go the other way, and I met a Snowy Sabre Cat, after using my scream and freezing it I was able to kill it (BTW NO TO ANIMAL MISTREATMENT), so far so normal, I met some wolves that do not pose a challenge, then I came across a kind of fort where there were some bandits that attacked me without hesitation, then another fort but bigger, in this world there is no time for talk, it's full of hostility where they attack you without thinking, and no matter how much you like peace, someone has to die to continue their way, it's them or you.
Tuve que rodear la montaña en donde me encontraba porque me encontré con un muro de nieve que me obligaba a ir por otro lado, y me encontré a un Gato Sable de las Nieves, después de usar mi grito y congelarlo pude matarlo (BTW NO AL MALTRATO ANIMAL), hasta ahora todo normal, me topé con unos lobos que no suponen un desafío, luego me encontré con una especie de fuerte donde habían varios bandidos que me atacaron sin pensarlo, luego otro fuerte pero más grande, en este mundo no hay tiempo para la plática, está lleno de hostilidad donde te atacan sin pensarlo, y por más que te guste la paz, alguien tiene que morir para continuar su camino, eres tú o ellos.
I kept walking until I found another fort, but this one had stronger bandits, who managed to kill me once, they forced me to be more strategic and look carefully how to finish them, after a hard battle I was victorious, I climbed a mountain and I found a small camp, that made me be alert, I managed to see a person in the distance, I approached with my sword in my hand, I no longer trust anyone at this point, TRUST NOBODY. But it was a simple hunter with a cute dog I'll call "Dirty Rag" because of his fur, hehe.
Seguí caminando hasta encontrar otro fuerte, pero este tenía bandidos más fuertes, que lograron matarme una vez, me forzaron a ser más estratégico y mirar detenidamente como acabar con ellos, luego de una dura batalla salí victorioso subí un una montaña y me encontré con un pequeño campamento, eso hizo que estuviese alerta, logré ver a una persona a lo lejos, me acerqué con espada en mano, ya no confío en nadie a este punto, TRUST NOBODY. Pero era un simple cazador con un lindo perro al que llamaré "Trapo Sucio" por su pelaje, hehe.
After crossing the mountain I FINALLY got to see something other than snow, so far we're almost half way across.
Luego de cruzar la montaña AL FIN pude ver algo que no sea nieve, hasta ahora vamos casi a la mitad.
Apparently it was no time to let my guard down, I could see what I thought was a camp of giants, as I approached what I saw was many remains of Mammoths and two furtive hunters who did not hesitate to attack me, it takes more than that to beat me.
Al parecer no era momento para bajar la guardia, pude ver lo que pensé que era un campamento de gigantes, al acercarme lo que vi fue muchos restos de Mamuts y dos cazadores furtivos que no dudaron en atacarme, hace falta más que eso para poder conmigo.
A lo lejos se puede ver la imponente Cuenca del Dragón, el palacio del Jarl de Carrera Blanca, y poco después me encontré con otro campamento lleno de gente hostil que solo quiere verme morir, no hace falta decir que acabé con ellos y seguí mi camino.
In the distance you can see the imposing Dragonsreach, the palace of the Jarl of Whiterun Hold, and shortly after I found another camp full of hostile people who just want to see me die, needless to say I finished them off and continued on my way.
As you have probably noticed, the graphics look very bad, I set the graphics to the minimum because my PC is from the year 1500 and its processor is a Dual Core, but even so I am still fascinated by the views and the atmosphere of the game.
Como seguramente te habrás dado cuenta, los gráficos se ven muy mal, configuro los gráficos al mínimo porque mi PC es del año 1500 y su procesador es un Dual Core, pero aun así me siguen fascinando las vistas y la ambientación del juego.
I found a camp of giants where there was only one, I could finish him without problems, the biggest problem came shortly after when I found a camp where there were two giants, they killed me several times, just look at this picture where they sent me to fly with a single blow.
Encontré un campamento de gigantes donde solo había uno, pude acabar con él sin problemas, el mayor problema vino poco después cuando me encontré con un campamento donde habían dos gigantes, me mataron varias veces, solo mira esta foto donde me mandaron a volar con un solo golpe.
I was able to finish them off using a big stone surrounding it so they couldn't reach me, that's how I was able to finish them off, I won't be stronger, but I am smarter (I think so)
Pude acabar con ellos utilizando una piedra grande rodeándola para que no me alcanzasen, así fue que pudo acabar con ellos, no seré más fuerte, pero si soy más inteligente (eso creo).
Cerca de ahí encontré un camino que atravesaba una montaña de nieve, me encontré un Espectro del hielo pero uno solo no es un desafío, luego de bajar la montaña encontramos un río, al cruzarlo me encontré con un altar donde había un conjurador que me atacó, y adivinen que, lo maté.
Nearby I found a path that went through a snowy mountain, I found an Ice Wraith but just one is not a challenge, after going down the mountain we found a river, when crossing it I found an altar where there was a conjurer who attacked me, and guess what, I killed him.
Un detalle que no me había dado cuenta en este juego, es que en algunas ocasiones podemos ver insectos que caminan por un árbol cortado, y encontré también junto a ellos una pequeña jarra, al parecer alguien estaba aquí, son estos detalles lo que le dan vida a este mundo. Poco tiempo después encontré a una persona que decía que le había atacado un vampiro, y que necesitaba una poción para curarla antes de que se convierta en vampiro, se la di y luego me compensó con 100 monedas.
A detail that I had not noticed in this game, is that sometimes we can see insects walking through a cut tree, and I also found next to them a small jar, apparently someone was here, it is these details that give life to this world. A short time later I found a person who said that she had been attacked by a vampire, and that she needed a potion to cure her before she becomes a vampire, I gave it to her and then she compensated me with 100 coins.
Al subirme a unas piedras grandes pude divisar mi destino, Falkreath, al fin, después de tanto luchar logré llegar, al parecer es un pequeño pueblo con sus habitantes con distintos roles, herreros, guardias, y más.
When I climbed on some large stones I could see my destination, Falkreath, at last, after so much struggle I managed to get there, apparently it is a small town with its inhabitants with different roles, blacksmiths, guards, and more.
